The correct choice regarding absorbency is acquired through experience, but as a guide, if a tampon exhausts its absorbency within 4 hours and needs to be replaced, then you need a tampon with higher absorbency.

    I have a very heavy flow period, accompanied by intense pain in the lower abdominal area. I have occasionally used o.b. and I was not very satisfied due to the difficult insertion. I felt resistance during insertion. I read good reviews about tampax and ordered a pack. Their insertion is very easy due to the plastic applicator that glides easily, and the placement is deep due to the mechanism! But... they change shape too much inside the vagina. o.b. have some grooves that open uniformly in size when absorbing blood. Tampax, when absorbing blood, open in the middle. They become huge, resulting in such intense discomfort that I experience incredible pain, causing me to need to remove them very quickly. The ideal for me would be o.b. material with the tampax mechanism. Maybe next time I will try the smaller size to give them another chance.

After the Tampax with the cardboard applicator (classic version) and the absolute failure with the plastic casing, this Tampax series is by far the best. Due to its shape, insertion has become much easier and the plastic parts do not separate and stay away from the body. It's worth trying!
