Water is not the same from every household faucet in Greece. Consequently, there is no single filter that economically covers all the different needs of homes across Greece.
The most common category of tap water problems is the so-called "aesthetic" issues, mainly referring to turbidity (dirt, rust, yellowness, etc.) as well as the unpleasant taste and odor of the water caused by chlorine and other chemical pollutants in tap water.
This is the main reason why most consumers in large urban centers turn to plastic bottled water with its known disadvantages. However, these problems are also the easiest to address and at a very low cost (purchase and maintenance).
Our company's Activated Carbon filters and Ultrafiltration systems provide an effective solution to the "aesthetic" problems of tap water, while additionally offering, depending on the case, protection against parasites, bacteria, and specific heavy metals.
All systems from our company are easy to install and maintain so that our customers can easily and economically use our filters for many years.
Filtration Stages
1st stage: 5-micron sediment filter
It is made from 100% pure polypropylene fibers, with high capacity, and removes impurities, dust, particles, rust, and other sediments.
2nd stage: Granular activated carbon filter
This is a high-performance activated carbon filter that removes 99% of free chlorine, odors, organic contaminant particles, pesticides, and chemicals.
3rd stage: 20-micron sediment filter or activated carbon filter
Depending on the water quality, the third stage may be either an activated carbon or a 20-micron sediment filter, preparing the water in the best possible way before it passes through the high rejection membrane. The sediment filter is made from 100% pure polypropylene fibers, with high capacity, and removes chemical compounds, suspended solids, and other sediments not retained due to their size by the 1st stage.
4th stage: High rejection TFC (Thin Film Composite) membrane
Separates 95-99.9% of dissolved pollutants, chemicals, solids, metals, bacteria, and microbes from water molecules (see lead, copper, barium, chromium, mercury, sodium, cadmium, fluoride, nitrites, and selenium). The pollutants are then discharged through the drain.
5th stage: Carbon post-filter
NSF approved, the post-filter removes all odors and residues, improving the pH and taste of the water.
Tank: Water is stored in a 12-liter container. Inside the tank is an elastic diaphragm resembling a balloon, pre-inflated with air at a pressure of 8-10 psi. As the tank fills, the air pressure increases, pushing the water out when the faucet is opened.
Output faucet: The final component of the Aqua Filter RO eco Home Reverse Osmosis System is a faucet installed on the kitchen countertop or sink.
This is a complete and reliable five-stage reverse osmosis model with a 12-liter storage tank for under-sink installation.
Reverse osmosis technology is the most perfect method for the complete purification of tap water.
