No matter how you prefer to take shots, whether using the full-touch capabilities of the 3-inch, 1.84-million-dot free-angle LCD screen, both in shooting mode and playback mode, or using the Live Viewfinder with OLED display, this camera helps you do it with absolute confidence. The Timelapse and Stop-Motion functions offer you an extra "touch" of creativity, while the photos you take using the improved High Resolution mode can now be saved directly in JPEG format, allowing you to enjoy exceptionally detailed images, with quality equivalent to 96 megapixels, for those moments when resolution is everything.
Professional video options
In 10-bit setting, HDMI 4:2:2 10-bit output is supported and simultaneous recording to an external drive / SD card.
Firmware update version 2.0 allows maximum video data output of RAW 12 bit 29.97p 5.9K (5888x3312, 16:9) / 59.94p 4K (4128x2176, 17:9) and anamorphic 3.5K (3536x2656, 4:3) via HDMI to be stored as Apple ProRes RAW on the Atomos Ninja V 4K HDR monitor recorder.
V-Log and V-Gamut are pre-installed. With 14+ stops of dynamic range and a wide color gamut, the performance is comparable to a professional VariCam cinema camera.
Dual I.S. 2, 6.5 stops
The Dual I.S. 2 (Image Stabilization) 5-axis combines body I.S. control and lens O.I.S. to offer correction similar to 6.5 stops.*
