Although I am quite satisfied with the purchase and I give it 4 stars, it does have its issues...

First of all, it is not genuine leather and I wonder why they mention it here in the comments. It is eco-leather = synthetic. If you search a bit, some websites mention it. However, it didn't bother me because I knew it and obviously I didn't have any illusions that genuine leather with Karl Lagerfeld branding would cost €37, which is what I paid for it.

Now, as for the fit for the MacBook Air M2, it is slightly larger, see the photos. It's not something great if you leave the padding they send (photo) inside, which I don't even know if its real purpose is to protect the laptop during transportation, but I would prefer a case specifically for the Air M2 if it existed. Anyway, you can't really call it snug. Look at the photo with the finger. It is without the padding and even though the Air M2 already has a hard shell cover. There is about 1.5cm of space on the right, left, and top. I was prepared for this from another review here, and since the case was released before the Air M2 and made for the previous Air and Pro models, which are slightly larger.

And even though it's not snug, it is tight due to lack of elasticity, and if you carry it with the "padding" and put more than one notebook and a few papers on top, the magnet doesn't close well, and it's not the best magnet. If you don't use the padding, you can fit a couple more small items, cables, adapters, etc.

So, the 4 stars are because it is a very slick case and for €37, it's worth the money. If I had bought it for €60 like some other websites have it, I would definitely have given it fewer stars.
