Anti-skid chains from the company Thule, are placed on the driving wheels of the car, enhancing traction on the road when it is covered in snow and ice. Their application on four-wheel drive vehicles is done on the front axle to make the steering system more effective. They are relatively easy to install but it is necessary to have tested them beforehand so that we are familiar with their placement.

Also an important criterion in choosing snow chains, apart from the compatible size of our tire, is the diameter (thickness) of the chain we will choose. Usually, chains with a thickness of 12mm and above offer more effective grip and better penetration in the snow compared to thinner diameter chains.
