During close-up shots using interchangeable lens cameras, a flash ring with a transmitter around the lens is used to avoid shading the subject by the camera. Similar results can be achieved with the LED lighting guide. The LED lighting guide, LG-1, can be attached to the lens of the TG-3 and uses the built-in LED lamp for even illumination of the subject, making the most of the TG-3's macro shooting capabilities.
