Description

Description

This DIALECTICAL BOOK expands the journey of Taekwondo as an Olympic sport, revealing the hidden aspects of a match, supporting daily training in theory, and describing each technique in detail (Kinesiology, Kicks, Punches – 477 techniques).

Emphasis is placed on the categorization of kicks and kinesiology, organizing the techniques into homogeneous categories to facilitate learning and proper usage. The book includes EVERY (Kinesiology and Kicks) technique that has been used in Taekwondo – WTF matches over the years.

The change in sparring rules significantly affects the use of techniques (some techniques are favored more, others are marginalized, etc.). The reader has the opportunity to find and choose the techniques and combinations that suit them best. Each technique is analyzed into variations of attacks and counters.

The basic form of the technique is described first, followed by combinations with other techniques and variations, depending on the level of difficulty (easy to hard). The order in which the techniques are assembled facilitates quicker learning, allowing the reader to memorize them in sequence and use them later in sparring automatically, purely from memory.

The technical execution and tactics used in matches are described for each movement, taking into account other parameters such as flexibility, injuries, analysis of advantages and disadvantages of each movement, common mistakes made by trainees, and the negative consequences of those mistakes.

The book consists of 402 pages and contains 24 Chapters. The Theory section includes: Analysis of Competitive Taekwondo, Brain Function in Matches, Injuries (causes, prevention, treatment), Performance Improvement, Teaching & Methodology, Technical aspects of kicks, Evolution of the match and training as a result of the electronic scoring system.

Practical Part A includes an analysis of Kinesiology: Fighting positions & blocks, Steps (attack & counterattack, position changes), Feints, Lateral movement, Closing. Practical Part B is an analysis of Kicks: Mirro chagi, Yop chagi, Bituro chagi, Paltung chagi, Dollyo chagi, Naerio chagi, An chagi, Bakat chagi, Dwit chagi, Huryeo chagi, Bandal Dollyo chagi, Double kick techniques, Triple kick techniques, and Punches.

The book is enriched with 231 Images, 44 tables, and 64 quotes that are most relevant to the content. The purpose of these quotes is to familiarize the reader with the high intelligence of wise individuals and expose them through their wisdom to a positive stimulus for their internal culture, a spark for thought that improves, enlightens, and is of better quality.

Each technique is presented online and realistically in videos, in the same order and number as described in the book.
