The Makita XGT is a cordless impact driver with four speed settings and six assist modes: two T modes, one for wood and three for bolts. The memory function lets you switch between two saved modes. It is designed for professional and industrial use and is supplied without a battery or charger.
The BL Motor is brushless, while XPT technology improves resistance to dust and water. The quick-release chuck makes it easy to change bits, and the bearing-supported bit holder reduces wobble and holds the bit securely. Constant speed control limits drops in rotational speed as battery capacity decreases, while the variable-speed trigger lets you control the rotation. It accepts M4–M8 machine screws, M5–M16 standard bolts and M5–M14 high-tensile bolts.
