Awesome shoe. It withstands walking 60 kilometers per week, with some light running. After five weeks, it still provides comfort during sports. Awesome shoe. Update: After three months, a whole piece came off the sole. Luckily, Nike took them back and refunded the money

I found it on sale for about 160 euros and I didn't miss the opportunity to possibly acquire the best racing shoe in the world. From the moment you wear it and walk in it, you realize that it is a special shoe. Unfortunately, it seems that it doesn't fit well with my foot and running style. Especially in the arch of my left foot, I felt a strong discomfort that only diminished when I ran at speeds below 4min/km. Also, in two races of 5 and 10 km that I tried it at a pace of about 3:40/km, I felt towards the end that it was tiring me instead of pushing me, maybe due to its rigid carbon plate, especially compared to the Endorphin Pro and RC Elite V2 shoes that I also own and have suited me very well. However, I consider the shoe to be a significant investment and for the next period, I will only use it for training with the hope of getting used to it and adjusting to it.

The lightest and most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, they are purely racing asphalt shoes. After 120km, I can say that they require attention in turns if the ground is not smooth, as they are high shoes and do not give you the confidence if you are not used to them.

I bought the vaporfly next% 1.5 months ago and I am really excited. I got them to do one or two fast training sessions per week. First of all, they are extremely lightweight. Size 42 weighs 176 grams. The size is exactly what I wear. The upper part is made of a material (vaporweave) that looks like paper. At first, it doesn't catch your eye, but when you run, it feels like there's nothing on your foot, and they fit perfectly even on my wide feet, providing a secure fit. However, their strong point is their sole. The foam and carbon plate combination provide excellent energy return. They are performance shoes. In one training session, I started with a 6-minute mile with minimal effort and ended up achieving my personal best without much struggle. Additionally, they have great shock absorption and are very stable, even though they may not appear so at first glance. The more you push them, the more they reward you. On the contrary, at a slow pace (e.g. during recovery), I feel like the shoe suffers. The foot sinks and wants to push off, but it lacks the energy to return. I haven't found any disadvantages, but I will mention some things that may be important to some people. They make noise (maybe due to my weight of 79 kilograms), the sole is quite far from the ground, so the runner doesn't have the sensation of the ground but of the shoe, and it's not the best shoe for making turns. Finally, I bought the shoe for 198 euros and in my opinion, you get what you pay for. It is by far the best shoe of its kind that I have tried. As for its durability, I don't know yet, but after 70-80 kilometers, it still looks brand new

From the first moment I wore them, I said that this shoe does not resemble any other I have tried. And I have tried several. As soon as you start walking, you feel your foot sinking into springs which in turn push your foot upwards. The fit of the VaporWeave is excellent. Although it resembles rigid plastic, it is quite elastic and perfectly molds to the shape of your foot, making it one with the shoe without feeling tight. It is worth noting that my foot is wide.
Since we are talking about a purely racing shoe, I have only run with it once, a distance of 5 kilometers. As soon as I started, I had a constant feeling that the shoe was pushing me to go faster and faster, resulting in me moving much faster than normal and ultimately running out of energy before completing the expected distance. Nevertheless, my experience was very good. The sensation of propulsion with each step was unique, as was the complete absorption of shocks with each landing. However, what matters most to me is the joy and excitement I felt throughout the run.
The shoe is unique, although its cost is a challenge. In the end, I do not regret it.
I am looking forward to the races starting again so that I can enjoy them even more.

Description & Specifications

The fastest marathon shoe just got faster.

The Nike ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% offers everything you need to reach record-breaking speeds, with a lighter design and faster feel than ever before. The increased cushioning underfoot and reduced weight in the upper provide unprecedented energy return and comfort.

Goal: Victory

There is a reason why many top runners compete with this shoe: It is the fastest of all Nike shoes. With great innovations such as ZoomX foam and the revolutionary carbon fiber plate, the ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% is designed to help you reach the finish line ahead of everyone else.

The secret of success

What makes this shoe so innovative is the energy return. The lightweight carbon fiber surface is combined with Nike ZoomX foam, which has a higher response than any other Nike foam. These two elements complement each other, providing a feeling of propulsion and greater speed with every step.

Ultra-light upper

The new VaporWeave material is extremely durable and lightweight. Additionally, it is water-resistant, so you can confidently pour water on your shoes. You will see that they will not absorb it.

An intermediate sole made for speed

Another element that makes this shoe so fast is that it has ZoomX foam from heel to toe, which has a higher response than any other Nike foam. In fact, in this version of the shoe, even more foam has been added for even greater energy return.

Advantages:

  • VaporWeave material on the upper part with special mesh weaving for a lightweight and breathable feel that provides a stable and comfortable fit.
  • Laces with a redesigned design that are integrated into the lightweight side sections and eliminate the need for arch support, contributing to reducing the weight of the shoe and relieving pressure on the top of the tendons.
  • Wider fit in the toe area for a more relaxed fit and activation of the muscles in the front part.
  • Flexible grooves along the outsole for better grip on multiple surfaces and various weather conditions.
  • Transparent mesh pattern that gives a sense of speed.
