Kattovit Feline Diet Renal dry food is a clinical diet for the nutritional support of cats with chronic kidney disease or other kidney problems. It contains reduced levels of protein, easily digestible ingredients, and controlled levels of phosphorus and sodium to help reduce the strain on the kidneys. Potassium citrate helps alkalise the urine and reduce the formation of crystals and calcium oxalate stones.
Its formula has a balanced protein-to-energy ratio and is highly palatable. For a 4 kg cat, approximately 60 g per day is recommended, depending on age, activity level, and breed. The initially recommended feeding period is up to 6 months; consult a veterinarian before use or extending the feeding period. Fresh drinking water should always be available.
