It ruined my cassette... luckily by pure chance I managed to record a large part of it. I DO NOT recommend this product for purchase; it's better for someone to consult a specialist for cassette conversion

Unacceptable product. It rewound the tape of the cassette and ruined it. It was recorded from my childhood and I lost it. No one should buy it if they don't want to lose valuable content. I managed to write only two cassettes and those with difficulty. It's Chinese junk.

Build quality is average but if you pay attention, it does what you ask of it.
It comes with a mini CD with an old version of audacity. Download the latest version directly to avoid any issues with exporting to mp3.
With a USB connection, it works without batteries.

I expected the conversion to be done only with this device, but it requires connection to a computer and installing a MP3 recording and editing program, which is included on a disc in the package but is relatively difficult to use. The build quality is mediocre to poor and requires careful handling to avoid breaking or damaging anything. The batteries included in the package did not fit (it had 2 AAA batteries while it needed 2 AA). It also has a headphone jack to function as a walkman. Of course, it requires special attention, once it falls down, it's over. It ultimately does its job, but the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.

In terms of quality, it is not something remarkable, but it does its job. It requires attention when opening and closing the cassette door as it is extremely delicate. However, I have already passed around 20 cassettes and it continues to work. You can export the files to wav or mp3 or whatever else you want and adjust the quality. It also has the option to combine the A and B sides into one file without any editing afterwards. For its price, it is just what you need

It does the job, but it is completely fake. From the third cassette, the play button started sticking.... I don't know how many cassettes it will manage to play before it breaks. Only time will tell.
