Description

Glue suitable for repairs on watersports equipment, for diving suits, neoprene accessories, waterproof clothing and inflatable items.

Instructions for Use

  • Clean worn neoprene with McNett Cotol-240™
  • For non-fabric surfaces, roughen and then clean
  • Apply Aquasure® directly from the tube or with a brush
  • Let it dry overnight (10-14 hours)
  • For a 2-hour process, use McNett Cotol-240 Accelerator

Holes and tears:

  • Create support with adhesive tape
  • Fill the gap and the area 5mm around it with Aquasure
  • Remove the tape when it is fully dry

Seams:

  • Apply a 2mm thick drop overlapping the edges of the seam by at least 5mm
  • Apply slight pressure to fill the fabric surface

Attention:

Avoid contact with skin. To remove Aquasure from your hands, rub with a piece of cloth with 99% isopropyl alcohol and then wash with water and soap

Aquasure is slippery when wet. For increased traction on footwear, sprinkle with sand ½ hour after application.

Storage:

Once opened, Aquasure will dry in the tube if not stored properly. Avoid contact with moisture. Push the contents towards the neck of the tube. Clean any excess and close tightly. Store in a dry place. To extend shelf life, place the product in a bag in the refrigerator. Allow it to reach room temperature for 6 hours before use. At low temperatures, unused Aquasure will harden in the tube. To restore it to its original state or to facilitate flow, dip the tube in warm water for 15 minutes or hold it with warm hands until it softens.

What I liked: after a thousand years, some future archaeologist will dig up two stuck-together objects and discover that they have completely melted *except* for the stuck connection between them, which remains intact.

What I didn't like: it's dangerous -- you get the feeling that if you're not careful about what you're doing, you might end up stuck too along with the objects

You follow the instructions and be careful, you must first sew the neoprene that you will stick.
