The Yongnuo YN-622C kit includes two wireless transceivers for controlling flashes with Canon E-TTL and E-TTL II cameras. It operates at 2.4 GHz, with a range of up to 328 feet, and supports the 622 and 560-RX communication protocols. It offers TTL and manual flash modes, as well as high-speed sync up to 1/8000 of a second.

The transceivers support group ratios and multiple flashes, with 7 channels and 3 groups. Each features a hot shoe and a PC sync port for connecting to a flash or studio lighting, while Super Sync enables faster synchronization through the PC port. LED indicators display the settings, and the AF-assist beam supports focusing in low-light conditions. First- and second-curtain sync modes are also available.
