In a "post-serial" society where animals now have equal rights with humans and the consumption of meat is legally and forcefully prohibited, four law-abiding citizens discover with horror – among them – a meatball! Who is the culprit? Who is trying to trap them? Who else entered the house secretly?
The play "Meatball" by Dimitris Foutsias, a one-act "vegan comedy," was awarded as part of the Young Playwrights Laboratory (E.N.THE.SY.) during its first presentation at the Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation in July 2019.
The volume is complemented by a foreword written by Dr. Theatre Studies and theatre critic Evi Prousalidou.
