The vast continent of America has been closely associated with every term related to previous forms of art, technology, science, and generally with all elements concerning the wondrous evolution of every aspect of human life in its earthly dimension. However, what may not be widely known is the marvelous fruits that the Orthodox Church has yielded in the eternal and spiritual dimension of human life with its presence there in the New World. Within the temporal confines of the twentieth century, a multitude of remarkable workers from the divine vineyard of our Holy Church sowed the seed of Christ in the land of America, which grew a hundredfold. In their evangelical journey across the American land, these young apostles of Christ sanctified themselves and imparted the sanctifying grace of God to the New World.
