First time I used a DPF cleaning chemical at 174,000 km, with 37 grams of soot.

A note for those who have diesel: no matter how much you “open it up” to clear it out, at some point it will need cleaning — especially if it’s at the first stage. Maybe that played a role in my case too.

I did a forced regeneration via VCDS in combination with the chemical and I really saw a big difference. The car seems to be running much better. I did it as a precaution, because I had frequent regenerations, but no warning light had come on. I’ll let some time pass and do it again to see if it accumulates soot quickly again.

Time will tell how long the result will last, but for now it seems it was worth it.

On a Ford Mondeo mk4 2009. I have seen a very big difference in the car. The reason I got it was the P0420 code - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold, hoping to avoid replacing it. The error does return though after two times I did it. I will try another bottle as well.
Apart from that though, it's a different car, better throttle response, the small misfires it had have stopped, and it produced quite a bit of smoke when I used it. I hope with the second bottle the error will go away too.

At first, it seemed like it didn't work at all as after a forced regeneration, the DPF blockage percentage dropped from 69% to 67%.

However, after about 1000 km, the blockage percentage has dropped to 25%.
Therefore, the product worked exceptionally well!

Owner of opel corsa D diesel I bought it preventively to clean the dpf (175000km) as much as possible because lately it regenerates about every 150km within the city, I'm not sure about the result but I'm sure about two things it emitted a lot of smoke (white smoke) about 8 to 10 times more than it does in a regular regeneration and that I feel the car a bit more airy in its acceleration. The application was done on the upper sensor of the dpf emptying all the spray in a warm car, I left it for a quarter to sit and then I drove with at least 2000 rpm and above. PS it is good to do it somewhere outside the city because you will be quite annoying due to the white smoke and the strong smell!!

The check engine light was on and it was showing three codes, all related to the lambda sensor in the Leon mk2. I installed it together with the Protec P1180, cleared the light with an OBD through my mobile phone, and I have driven around 400 km without it coming back on!! (Note: be careful during use, as it accidentally came into contact with the liquid and left some marks on the surface.)
