Description

Description

The Fibaro FGSD-002 smoke detector uses an optical method to detect smoke and signals a fire alarm with audible and visual indicators. It sends information and alarm and control commands via the Z-Wave Plus network and is compatible with Fibaro HC2 and Vera control panels. The built-in temperature sensor can be configured to indicate when a preset temperature threshold is exceeded.

The LED indicator flashes during an alarm and also shows the device's operating status and connection to the Z-Wave network. The detector is powered by a CR123A / CR17345 battery, 3.0 V DC, and is designed for wall or ceiling mounting indoors under normal conditions.
