The Central Soho 6U wall-mounted rack cabinet is designed for small indoor network installations. Its door features a glass panel and security lock, and can be removed and reinstalled to open either to the left or right. The two hinged side panels feature snap-lock mechanisms and security locks for access to the interior.

Inside, there are two adjustable 10″ equipment mounting rails with numbered U markings and a grounding cable. The cabinet is fan-ready, has ventilation openings on the sides, and six cable entry and routing points at the top and bottom, with removable protective caps. The removable metal rear bar makes wall mounting easier.

    It is not cheap.
    It is sturdy and well-made, with plenty of holes for ventilation to prevent the temperature from rising in the summer.

    I have placed a surge protector, internet service provider router, and my own switch inside.
    Someone could add other things such as a network-attached storage (NAS) or an Access Point.

    It keeps everything organized and protected from dust, pets, and small children who may play with water, etc.

    I bought it in 2020 for €110, which I consider to be quite expensive.
    Unfortunately, there were no other viable alternatives on the market, and because I needed it, I gave in.
