The device allows the use of any 48V PoE source (such as Passive PoE, Telecom PoE, 802.3af, and 802.3at) to power RouterBOARD devices. Simply connect any 48V PoE ethernet cable to one port and any RouterBOARD device that accepts 8-30V to the other port.
The device provides high-performance output power - up to 24W (up to 1A at 24V). It can be powered by a 42-57V PoE solution available on the market (Passive, Telecom, 802.3af, and 802.3at PoE plus are supported).
The metal design of the device features high-quality materials and an integrated heat sink design. The box has holes for wall mounting.
There are Ethernet surge protectors inside the Ethernet connectors, allowing the use of shielded ethernet for grounding either the device or the devices at both ends. It supports 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet.
