I believe that it is definitely worth investing money in a smart digital scale; I realized this after this purchase. They are affordable in price, like the Etekcity, and offer much more than just simple weight measurement. Over time, I had mechanical and cheap digital scales that rarely exceeded €20.
Initially, it is aesthetically pleasing and impressive in appearance with a durable reinforced glass surface (tempered glass). Additionally, in terms of dimensions (38x30), you are not cramped like with many others, making measurement comfortable.
As for weighing, it is extremely accurate as I placed various weights that gave correct results. Special mention goes to the clear, impressive display.
The one-time connection to Wi-Fi was immediate, and the automatic synchronization with the app on the mobile and tablet after each weighing, with instant updates via push notifications, provides a complete record of important body metrics. Timelines, graphs, and advice for high and low biometric data that deserve attention or improvement are also included. There is a wealth of information that requires user participation and a little research to understand what each measured indicator means (Body Mass Index, body fat measurement, body water, bone mass, muscle mass, protein, visceral fat, subcutaneous fat). I was mainly concerned with BMI and body fat measurement, but now I am also looking into the others.
Adding other users to the scale is easy so they can have their own profile.
Finally, charging is done with a USB cable provided in the package. Although I haven't needed to charge it yet, the duration is ~4 months with daily use, so it is also a device that does not require the purchase of batteries.
I am definitely satisfied with this purchase.
