It's definitely worth it, I recently bought it. I also bought a cooler for the processor, this one here Be Quiet! CPU Cooler PURE ROCK 3 BLACK. I recently upgraded my computer. very good processor, it can take a lot of beating. it doesn't slow down for anything. I use the computer for demanding gaming and video and image editing. even now after 1.5 years it doesn't lag at all!

Amazing CPU, I came from the 2600x and as some others say, the difference is noticeable! It needs a good cooler because it's one of those CPUs that gets hot when pushed to the limit! I recommend it, of course, if you can get it for around 150-170 euros! (which is what I paid for it too!)

I combined it with a Be Quiet Pure Rock Pro 3, Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 rev. 1.0 Wi-Fi Motherboard ATX with AMD AM4 Socket, AMD 9060 XT 16GB. With the Lian Li 217 case, everything is cool, runs perfectly, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to buy a PC. Very high-performance processor and still holds up well in 2025 even though the platform is AM4. Together with an Arctic Freezer 36, it hardly raises temperatures at all, even under heavy load. Excellent both for work and for gaming.

In short, a beast. I have paired it with an RX 9060 XT 16GB and there is absolutely no bottleneck. It is very capable and literally doesn't struggle anywhere. As for temperatures, I have an Arctic Freezer 34 esports duo and Arctic thermal paste (MX-4) as well, and at idle it ranges between 30-40 degrees, and during gaming (the game also plays a role, of course) I haven't seen it go above 70-75 (and in general it's considered a 'hot' CPU), and note that I play demanding games like Ghost of Tsushima, Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, etc.

Upgrade from 2600X aiming to improve performance in Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop: NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE.
We're talking about a chaotic difference in Lightroom; editing went from a chore back to a hobby. In Develop, I always use 100% zoom, which could take up to 5 seconds to render each photo, now that time has dropped to 1 second or less. In Library, it could take me 7 seconds to move from photo to photo, now it's instantaneous! I only edit Nikon RAW files (Full frame 24Mpixel).
Even in everyday simple tasks like opening/closing the browser, file explorer, etc., the difference was noticeable, though obviously less chaotic, since I already had a Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus m.2 NVMe 2TB which is the most important factor in these tasks.
It was paired with a new motherboard (Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2) which coincidentally died at the same time as the processor. The previous one ran the memory at 2400MHz (XMP wasn't stable, I had BSODs), the new one now fully utilizes the 4x8GB DDR4 at 3200MHz. This definitely played a significant role in overall performance.
Also, it was paired from the start with an aftermarket cooler Arctic Freezer 36 Black, along with 5 pre-existing case fans, and no throttling due to temperatures has been observed.
For the graphics card, to complete the specs, I use an MSI RTX2060 6GB.
In summary, for 2025, I still consider it one of the most value-for-money options, worth every euro.
Αλλαγή από 2600X με σκοπό τη βελτίωση των επιδόσεων σε Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop: Η ΜΕΡΑ ΜΕ ΤΗ ΝΥΧΤΑ.
Μιλάμε για διαφορά χαοτική στο Lightroom, από αγγαρεία το editing έγινε ξανά χόμπι. Στο Develop εγώ χρησιμοποιώ συνέχεια το 100% zoom, το οποίο μπορεί να έπαιρνε και 5 δευτερόλεπτα να κάνει render σε κάθε φωτογραφία, ο χρόνος αυτός έπεσε στο 1 δευτερόλεπτο και κάτω. Στο Library μπορεί να χρειαζόμουν και 7 δευτερόλεπτα να μετακινηθώ από φωτογραφία σε φωτογραφία, πλέον γίνεται ακαριαία! Επεξεργάζομαι μόνο αρχεία RAW Nikon (Full frame 24Mpixel).
Ακόμα και σε καθημερινά απλά tasks όπως το άνοιγμα/κλείσιμο του browser, του file explorer κτλ, η διαφορά ήταν εμφανής, ωστόσω λιγότερο χαοτική προφανώς, διότι είχα εξαρχής Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus m.2 NVMe 2TB που είναι το πιο σημαντικό σε αυτά.
Συνδυάστηκε με καινούρια μητρική (Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2) η οποία συμπτωματικά πέθανε ταυτόχρονα με τον επεξεργαστή. Η προηγούμενη δούλευε τις μνήμες στα 2400MHz (δεν έπαιζε το XMP σταθερά, είχα BSOD's), η νεα πλέον αξιοποιεί τις 4x8GB DDR4 στα 3200MHz στο έπακρο. Σίγουρα έπαιξε σημαντικό ρόλο στις επιδόσεις γενικά.
Επίσης, συνδυάστηκε με Aftermarket ψύκτρα Arctic Freezer 36 Black εξαρχής, μαζί με 5 Case Fans που προϋπήρχαν, και δεν έχει παρατηρηθεί throttling λόγω θερμοκρασιών.
Από κάρτα γραφικών, για να ολοκληρωθούν τα Specs, χρησιμοποιώ μια MSI RTX2060 6GB.
Συνοπτικά, για 2025, είναι ακόμα από τις πιο VFM επιλογές θεωρώ, αξίζει κάθε ευρώ.
It is a very good CPU with which you can have 100fps++ with a 3060, but it heats up very quickly and easily reaches 90 degrees with the Be Quiet Pure Rock 2. Είναι ένα πάρα πολύ καλό cpu με το οποίο μπορείς να έχεις 100fps++ με μια 3060, ομως ζεστένεται πάρα πολύ γρήγορα και φτάνει άνετα τους 90 βαθμούς με την Be Quiet Pure Rock 2. Όμως τώρα που έβαλα μια παρα πολύ δυνατή υδρόψυξη (Titan 360 RX) ποιανει τους 70 βαθμούς και με δυσκολία ανεβαίνει, θα την πρότεινα μόνο εαν παίρνατε και ενα πολύ καλό cpu cooller

Nice processor, in terms of temperatures it's okay so far, max 70 degrees with Corsair A115 air cooling, (this may vary depending on the general environment where the PC is located, whether the surroundings are hot or cold)

From Ryzen 7 2700x this is the best for low budget, combined with rtx 2070 and B550 tomahawk it's like I got a new pc! Everything runs super fast, fps skyrocketed! It definitely gets hot, it can go above 75 so with an undervolt tutorial on YouTube we lower the temperature by 10 degrees!

I changed the card to amd 7800x for 1440p, the cpu works perfectly with a max temperature of 70 degrees and in idle 40-45

Σίγουρα ανεβάζει θερμοκρασία , μπορεί να πάει και πάνω από 75 οπότε με ένα tutorial undervolt στο YouTube ρίχνουμε τη θερμοκρασία κατά 10 βαθμούς!

Real beast! For any use! Minimal differences in games with the excellent big brother 5800x3d (5-15 fps in games that utilize the 3d cache). It will easily support demanding multitasking and gaming. Just forget about stock coolers etc. and go straight for good liquid cooling! It’s hot and comes with 105 watts from AMD (which means at least 150+ when overclocked). Otherwise, undervolting is the only way. With an Aerocool Mirage that was installed 360 (but with a change to Arctic P12 RGB fans), it runs like clockwork and stays cool!

I don't have anything to say that hasn't already been said, it's simply the best VFM available right now! I came from a 1600x with B350, and along with the 5800X I got a TUF B550, I kept the memory, power supply, and the 3060TI from the previous system. With €300 I more than doubled the performance of my machine. Also, because it's generally a hot processor, the first thing I did was undervolt, with impressive results! Better scores in all benchmarks, and most importantly, with a 10-degree lower temperature!

Προέρχομαι από 1600x με Β350, και μαζί με τον 5800Χ πήρα και μια TUF B550, κράτησα τις μνήμες, τροφοδοτικό και την 3060ΤΙ απο το προηγούμενο σύστημα. Με 300€ υπερδιπλασίασα την απόδοση του μηχανήματος μου.
Επίσης, επειδή γενικά είναι ζεστός επεξεργαστής, το πρώτο πράγμα που έκανα είναι να κάνω undervolt, με εντυπωσιακό αποτέλεσμα! Καλύτερα σκορ σε όλα τα benchmarks, και το πιο βασικό, με 10 βαθμούς χαμηλότερη θερμοκρασία!
In short, the processor is VFM and it's a beast. My friend and I have identical PCs, he just got the 3xd. We barely get 10 fps in various gaming at 2K resolution. Attention: It definitely needs a GOOD cooler. I recommend liquid cooling. I installed a Liquid Freezer II 240 and the temperature when I load it ranges between 48-70 max degrees without having touched the fans in BIOS (default).
Με λιγα λόγια Ο επεξεργαστής είναι VFM και είναι τέρας. Με τον κολλητο έχουμε ολοιδια Pc απλα αυτός πηρε την 3xd. Έχουμε με το ζόρι 10 fps διάφορα σε γκειμινγκ σε ανάλυση 2Κ. Προσοχή: Θέλει οπωσδήποτε μια ΚΑΛΉ ψήκτρα. Προτείνω Υδροψυξη. Εγώ έβαλα Μια liquid freeze II 240 και η θερμοκρασία οταν το φορτώνω παιζει μεταξύ 48-70 max Βαθμούς χωρις να εχω πειράξει απο BIOS τους ανεμιστήρες (default).

Very powerful and fast CPU, I combined it with an ASUS motherboard (B450M-A II) and a 1060 and I can say after a month of use that it doesn't lag anywhere and makes multitasking seem like a breeze. Its temperatures, combined with the Be Quiet Pure Rock Slim 2 cooler and 2 fans in my mid tower case with decent cable management, are a maximum of 85 degrees in AAA games with ultra graphics and various open applications. At idle, it's at most 60 degrees. The 190 euros it costs is a steal in my opinion. It should be noted that this is the first time I've used an AMD CPU and I am satisfied with its performance!

Οι θερμοκρασίες του σε συνδυασμό με την ψύκτρα της Be Quiet Pure Rock Slim 2 και 2 Fans στο mid κουτί μου με αξιόλογο cable management είναι 85 βαθμοί max σε AAA games με ultra γραφικά και διάφορες εφαρμογές ανοιχτές. Σε idle το πολύ 60. Τα 190 ευρώ που κοστίζει ειναι κλέψιμο κατά την γνώμη μου. Να σημειωθεί οτι είναι η πρώτη φορά που χρησιμοποιώ CPU της AMD και είμαι κατά ευχαριστημένος με τις επιδόσεις του!

Combined with a Crosshair VI Hero and an NZXT Kraken X62 liquid cooler that is 4 and a half years old. With the ASUS core performance boost closed (it was giving 1.51vcore!!!!), it runs at 51 degrees after 15 minutes of AIDA64. Those who talk about temperature should probably check because the BIOS is likely pushing much more vcore than needed. A very good upgrade from the 1700 I had for the last 5 and a half years!
Συνδιαστηκε με crosshair vi hero και μια υδροψυξη nzxt kraken x62 4μιση χρονων.Με κλειστο το core performance boost της asus(εδεινε 1.51vcore!!!!)τρεχει στους 51 βαθμους μετα απο 15λεπτα aida64.Οσοι λενε για θερμοκρασια λογικα πρεπει να κοιταξουν γιατι λογικα το bios ειναι που σπρωχνει πολυ περισσοτερο vcore απο αυτο που χρειαζεται.Πολυ καλη αναθμηση απο τον 1700 που ειχα τα τελευταια 5μιση χρονια!
Very hot chip. With an aftermarket cooler (6 heat pipes), mx-4 paste and 6 fans in the case, it reached 93 degrees! I undervolted it and calmed down from temperatures. I noticed that it was giving 1.45v voltage which was basically unnecessary, and this is because the technology known as pbo reads how good your cooler is and boosts the cpu more and more. Now I'm working with 1.28v voltage, very stable and I have a max of 78 degrees which, due to the fact that it's already a hot chip, is great!
Πολύ ζεστό τσιπ. Με aftermarket ψύκτρα (6 heat pipes), πάστα mx-4 και 6 ανεμιστήρες στο κουτί έτυχε να φτάσει και τους 93 βαθμούς! Του έκανα undervolt και ησύχασα από θερμοκρασίες. Παρατήρησα ότι έδινε 1,45v τάση που ήταν αχρείαστη ουσιαστικά και αυτό γιατί η τεχνολογία γνωστή ως pbo διαβάζει ποσό καλή ψυκτρα έχεις και boostarei όλο και περισσότερο τον cpu. Πλέον τον δουλεύω με 1,28v τάση πολύ stable και έχω μαξ 78 βαθμούς το οποίο λόγω του ότι είναι ούτως η άλλως ζεστό τσιπ είναι κομπλέ!
Good morning. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the temperatures. 79-85 degrees in gaming is excessive, although AMD considers it normal. It's a good processor, it runs everything well, although I expected a few more FPS in a couple of games... Compared to the 2600x I had, it's a HUGE upgrade. The only thing I did was undervolting and lowered the performance a bit to gain -15 to -20 degrees. Because those temperatures were bothering me :P Also, if anyone doesn't have proper cooling in their computer, they should get one if they plan on getting this processor. It doesn't need to be super expensive, but not a joke either.
Καλημερα. Ο μονος λογος που εβαλα 4 αστερια ειναι για τις ΘΕΡΜΟΚΡΑΣΙΕΣ. 79-85 βαθμους σε gaming ειναι υπερβολικο, αν και η AMD το θεωρει φυσιολογικο. Καλος επεξεργαστης, τρεχει καλα τα ΠΑΝΤΑ αν κ περιμενα σε κανα δυο παιχνιδια περισσοτερα FPS αλλα....Απο τον 2600χ που ειχα ειναι ΤΕΡΑΣΤΙΑ αναβαθμιση. Το μονο που εκανα ειναι undevolting κ εριξα λιγο την επιδοση για να κερδισω -15 με -20 βαθμους. Γιατι αυτες οι θερμοκρασιες μου καθονταν στο λαιμο :P Ακ οποιος δεν εχει τηιμια ψυξη στον υπολογιστη του να παρει μια αμα εχει σκοπο να παρει αυτον τον επεξεργαστη, δεν χρειαζεται καμια πανακριβη αλλα οχι κ της πλακας.
Personally, listening to the reviews, I had formed a completely different opinion compared to this and the 5700X. However, in practice things are different - it's definitely not a cold processor, but it's not the monster I heard about everywhere. If you keep it with stock settings and don't want to delve deeper, go for the 5700X. But if you have the patience to work with it a bit, the result is more than satisfactory. With stock settings, I boosted it up to 4950MHz with 43 idle and max 83 under load, along with an Arctic Liquid Freezer 280mm. So I did some research and found the sweet spot at 4750MHz all core OC permanently, with 32 idle and 67 degrees under stress. I don't think the 5700X would have reached this performance, so I'm quite satisfied.
Προσωπικά ακούγοντας τις κριτικές είχα σχηματίσει μια εντελώς διαφορετική άποψη αμαναμεσα σε αυτόν και τον 5700 Χ.Ωστοσο στην πράξη τα πράγματα είναι αλλιώς σίγουρα δεν είναι ψυχρός επεξεργαστής αλλά δεν είναι και το τέρας που άκουγα δεξιά κι αριστερα.Αν τον κρατήσεις με στοκ ρυθμίσεις και δεν θεσ να ψαχτείς καλύτερα πήγαινε σε 5700Χ αν έχεις ωστόσο την υπομονή να τον δουλέψεις λίγο το αποτέλεσμα είναι παραπάνω από ικανοποιητικό.Εμενα με στοκ ρυθμίσεις μπουσταρε μέχρι 4950mhz με 43 idle και Μαξ 83 σε load μαζί με μια Arctic Liquid Freezer 280mm οπότε έψαξα λίγο και βρήκα το sweet spot στα 4750mhz all core oc μόνιμα με 32 idle και 67 βαθμούς under stress.Δεν νομίζω ο 5700Χ να έφτανε σε αυτήν την απόδοση οπότε είμαι αρκετά ευχαριστημένος

I don't have liquid cooling, I have the arctic freezer 2 double fan...and I've put the paste that came with the cooler in a small tube on top...

Very high-performance processor and still holds up well in 2025 even though the platform is AM4. Together with an Arctic Freezer 36, it hardly raises temperatures at all, even under heavy load. Excellent both for work and for gaming.

In short, a beast. I have paired it with an RX 9060 XT 16GB and there is absolutely no bottleneck. It is very capable and literally doesn't struggle anywhere. As for temperatures, I have an Arctic Freezer 34 esports duo and Arctic thermal paste (MX-4) as well, and at idle it ranges between 30-40 degrees, and during gaming (the game also plays a role, of course) I haven't seen it go above 70-75 (and in general it's considered a 'hot' CPU), and note that I play demanding games like Ghost of Tsushima, Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, etc.

We're talking about a chaotic difference in Lightroom; editing went from a chore back to a hobby. In Develop, I always use 100% zoom, which could take up to 5 seconds to render each photo, now that time has dropped to 1 second or less. In Library, it could take me 7 seconds to move from photo to photo, now it's instantaneous! I only edit Nikon RAW files (Full frame 24Mpixel).
Even in everyday simple tasks like opening/closing the browser, file explorer, etc., the difference was noticeable, though obviously less chaotic, since I already had a Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus m.2 NVMe 2TB which is the most important factor in these tasks.
It was paired with a new motherboard (Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2) which coincidentally died at the same time as the processor. The previous one ran the memory at 2400MHz (XMP wasn't stable, I had BSODs), the new one now fully utilizes the 4x8GB DDR4 at 3200MHz. This definitely played a significant role in overall performance.
Also, it was paired from the start with an aftermarket cooler Arctic Freezer 36 Black, along with 5 pre-existing case fans, and no throttling due to temperatures has been observed.
For the graphics card, to complete the specs, I use an MSI RTX2060 6GB.
In summary, for 2025, I still consider it one of the most value-for-money options, worth every euro.

Μιλάμε για διαφορά χαοτική στο Lightroom, από αγγαρεία το editing έγινε ξανά χόμπι. Στο Develop εγώ χρησιμοποιώ συνέχεια το 100% zoom, το οποίο μπορεί να έπαιρνε και 5 δευτερόλεπτα να κάνει render σε κάθε φωτογραφία, ο χρόνος αυτός έπεσε στο 1 δευτερόλεπτο και κάτω. Στο Library μπορεί να χρειαζόμουν και 7 δευτερόλεπτα να μετακινηθώ από φωτογραφία σε φωτογραφία, πλέον γίνεται ακαριαία! Επεξεργάζομαι μόνο αρχεία RAW Nikon (Full frame 24Mpixel).
Ακόμα και σε καθημερινά απλά tasks όπως το άνοιγμα/κλείσιμο του browser, του file explorer κτλ, η διαφορά ήταν εμφανής, ωστόσω λιγότερο χαοτική προφανώς, διότι είχα εξαρχής Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus m.2 NVMe 2TB που είναι το πιο σημαντικό σε αυτά.
Συνδυάστηκε με καινούρια μητρική (Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2) η οποία συμπτωματικά πέθανε ταυτόχρονα με τον επεξεργαστή. Η προηγούμενη δούλευε τις μνήμες στα 2400MHz (δεν έπαιζε το XMP σταθερά, είχα BSOD's), η νεα πλέον αξιοποιεί τις 4x8GB DDR4 στα 3200MHz στο έπακρο. Σίγουρα έπαιξε σημαντικό ρόλο στις επιδόσεις γενικά.
Επίσης, συνδυάστηκε με Aftermarket ψύκτρα Arctic Freezer 36 Black εξαρχής, μαζί με 5 Case Fans που προϋπήρχαν, και δεν έχει παρατηρηθεί throttling λόγω θερμοκρασιών.
Από κάρτα γραφικών, για να ολοκληρωθούν τα Specs, χρησιμοποιώ μια MSI RTX2060 6GB.
Συνοπτικά, για 2025, είναι ακόμα από τις πιο VFM επιλογές θεωρώ, αξίζει κάθε ευρώ.
It is a very good CPU with which you can have 100fps++ with a 3060, but it heats up very quickly and easily reaches 90 degrees with the Be Quiet Pure Rock 2. Όμως τώρα που έβαλα μια παρα πολύ δυνατή υδρόψυξη (Titan 360 RX) ποιανει τους 70 βαθμούς και με δυσκολία ανεβαίνει, θα την πρότεινα μόνο εαν παίρνατε και ενα πολύ καλό cpu cooller

Crazy temperatures, it definitely needs a cooler and it's just fine, there's no need for water cooling and with air cooling it works just fine, max 70c in games like Warzone, PUBG, Tarkov, etc

Nice processor, in terms of temperatures it's okay so far, max 70 degrees with Corsair A115 air cooling, (this may vary depending on the general environment where the PC is located, whether the surroundings are hot or cold)

From Ryzen 7 2700x this is the best for low budget, combined with rtx 2070 and B550 tomahawk it's like I got a new pc! Everything runs super fast, fps skyrocketed! It definitely gets hot, it can go above 75 so with an undervolt tutorial on YouTube we lower the temperature by 10 degrees!

I changed the card to amd 7800x for 1440p, the cpu works perfectly with a max temperature of 70 degrees and in idle 40-45

Σίγουρα ανεβάζει θερμοκρασία , μπορεί να πάει και πάνω από 75 οπότε με ένα tutorial undervolt στο YouTube ρίχνουμε τη θερμοκρασία κατά 10 βαθμούς!

Real beast! For any use! Minimal differences in games with the excellent big brother 5800x3d (5-15 fps in games that utilize the 3d cache). It will easily support demanding multitasking and gaming. Just forget about stock coolers etc. and go straight for good liquid cooling! It’s hot and comes with 105 watts from AMD (which means at least 150+ when overclocked). Otherwise, undervolting is the only way. With an Aerocool Mirage that was installed 360 (but with a change to Arctic P12 RGB fans), it runs like clockwork and stays cool!

I don't have anything to say that hasn't already been said, it's simply the best VFM available right now! I came from a 1600x with B350, and along with the 5800X I got a TUF B550, I kept the memory, power supply, and the 3060TI from the previous system. With €300 I more than doubled the performance of my machine. Also, because it's generally a hot processor, the first thing I did was undervolt, with impressive results! Better scores in all benchmarks, and most importantly, with a 10-degree lower temperature!

Προέρχομαι από 1600x με Β350, και μαζί με τον 5800Χ πήρα και μια TUF B550, κράτησα τις μνήμες, τροφοδοτικό και την 3060ΤΙ απο το προηγούμενο σύστημα. Με 300€ υπερδιπλασίασα την απόδοση του μηχανήματος μου.
Επίσης, επειδή γενικά είναι ζεστός επεξεργαστής, το πρώτο πράγμα που έκανα είναι να κάνω undervolt, με εντυπωσιακό αποτέλεσμα! Καλύτερα σκορ σε όλα τα benchmarks, και το πιο βασικό, με 10 βαθμούς χαμηλότερη θερμοκρασία!
In short, the processor is VFM and it's a beast. My friend and I have identical PCs, he just got the 3xd. We barely get 10 fps in various gaming at 2K resolution. Attention: It definitely needs a GOOD cooler. I recommend liquid cooling. I installed a Liquid Freezer II 240 and the temperature when I load it ranges between 48-70 max degrees without having touched the fans in BIOS (default).
Με λιγα λόγια Ο επεξεργαστής είναι VFM και είναι τέρας. Με τον κολλητο έχουμε ολοιδια Pc απλα αυτός πηρε την 3xd. Έχουμε με το ζόρι 10 fps διάφορα σε γκειμινγκ σε ανάλυση 2Κ. Προσοχή: Θέλει οπωσδήποτε μια ΚΑΛΉ ψήκτρα. Προτείνω Υδροψυξη. Εγώ έβαλα Μια liquid freeze II 240 και η θερμοκρασία οταν το φορτώνω παιζει μεταξύ 48-70 max Βαθμούς χωρις να εχω πειράξει απο BIOS τους ανεμιστήρες (default).

Very powerful and fast CPU, I combined it with an ASUS motherboard (B450M-A II) and a 1060 and I can say after a month of use that it doesn't lag anywhere and makes multitasking seem like a breeze. Its temperatures, combined with the Be Quiet Pure Rock Slim 2 cooler and 2 fans in my mid tower case with decent cable management, are a maximum of 85 degrees in AAA games with ultra graphics and various open applications. At idle, it's at most 60 degrees. The 190 euros it costs is a steal in my opinion. It should be noted that this is the first time I've used an AMD CPU and I am satisfied with its performance!

Οι θερμοκρασίες του σε συνδυασμό με την ψύκτρα της Be Quiet Pure Rock Slim 2 και 2 Fans στο mid κουτί μου με αξιόλογο cable management είναι 85 βαθμοί max σε AAA games με ultra γραφικά και διάφορες εφαρμογές ανοιχτές. Σε idle το πολύ 60. Τα 190 ευρώ που κοστίζει ειναι κλέψιμο κατά την γνώμη μου. Να σημειωθεί οτι είναι η πρώτη φορά που χρησιμοποιώ CPU της AMD και είμαι κατά ευχαριστημένος με τις επιδόσεις του!

Combined with a Crosshair VI Hero and an NZXT Kraken X62 liquid cooler that is 4 and a half years old. With the ASUS core performance boost closed (it was giving 1.51vcore!!!!), it runs at 51 degrees after 15 minutes of AIDA64. Those who talk about temperature should probably check because the BIOS is likely pushing much more vcore than needed. A very good upgrade from the 1700 I had for the last 5 and a half years!
Συνδιαστηκε με crosshair vi hero και μια υδροψυξη nzxt kraken x62 4μιση χρονων.Με κλειστο το core performance boost της asus(εδεινε 1.51vcore!!!!)τρεχει στους 51 βαθμους μετα απο 15λεπτα aida64.Οσοι λενε για θερμοκρασια λογικα πρεπει να κοιταξουν γιατι λογικα το bios ειναι που σπρωχνει πολυ περισσοτερο vcore απο αυτο που χρειαζεται.Πολυ καλη αναθμηση απο τον 1700 που ειχα τα τελευταια 5μιση χρονια!
Very hot chip. With an aftermarket cooler (6 heat pipes), mx-4 paste and 6 fans in the case, it reached 93 degrees! I undervolted it and calmed down from temperatures. I noticed that it was giving 1.45v voltage which was basically unnecessary, and this is because the technology known as pbo reads how good your cooler is and boosts the cpu more and more. Now I'm working with 1.28v voltage, very stable and I have a max of 78 degrees which, due to the fact that it's already a hot chip, is great!
Πολύ ζεστό τσιπ. Με aftermarket ψύκτρα (6 heat pipes), πάστα mx-4 και 6 ανεμιστήρες στο κουτί έτυχε να φτάσει και τους 93 βαθμούς! Του έκανα undervolt και ησύχασα από θερμοκρασίες. Παρατήρησα ότι έδινε 1,45v τάση που ήταν αχρείαστη ουσιαστικά και αυτό γιατί η τεχνολογία γνωστή ως pbo διαβάζει ποσό καλή ψυκτρα έχεις και boostarei όλο και περισσότερο τον cpu. Πλέον τον δουλεύω με 1,28v τάση πολύ stable και έχω μαξ 78 βαθμούς το οποίο λόγω του ότι είναι ούτως η άλλως ζεστό τσιπ είναι κομπλέ!
Good morning. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the temperatures. 79-85 degrees in gaming is excessive, although AMD considers it normal. It's a good processor, it runs everything well, although I expected a few more FPS in a couple of games... Compared to the 2600x I had, it's a HUGE upgrade. The only thing I did was undervolting and lowered the performance a bit to gain -15 to -20 degrees. Because those temperatures were bothering me :P Also, if anyone doesn't have proper cooling in their computer, they should get one if they plan on getting this processor. It doesn't need to be super expensive, but not a joke either.
Καλημερα. Ο μονος λογος που εβαλα 4 αστερια ειναι για τις ΘΕΡΜΟΚΡΑΣΙΕΣ. 79-85 βαθμους σε gaming ειναι υπερβολικο, αν και η AMD το θεωρει φυσιολογικο. Καλος επεξεργαστης, τρεχει καλα τα ΠΑΝΤΑ αν κ περιμενα σε κανα δυο παιχνιδια περισσοτερα FPS αλλα....Απο τον 2600χ που ειχα ειναι ΤΕΡΑΣΤΙΑ αναβαθμιση. Το μονο που εκανα ειναι undevolting κ εριξα λιγο την επιδοση για να κερδισω -15 με -20 βαθμους. Γιατι αυτες οι θερμοκρασιες μου καθονταν στο λαιμο :P Ακ οποιος δεν εχει τηιμια ψυξη στον υπολογιστη του να παρει μια αμα εχει σκοπο να παρει αυτον τον επεξεργαστη, δεν χρειαζεται καμια πανακριβη αλλα οχι κ της πλακας.
Personally, listening to the reviews, I had formed a completely different opinion compared to this and the 5700X. However, in practice things are different - it's definitely not a cold processor, but it's not the monster I heard about everywhere. If you keep it with stock settings and don't want to delve deeper, go for the 5700X. But if you have the patience to work with it a bit, the result is more than satisfactory. With stock settings, I boosted it up to 4950MHz with 43 idle and max 83 under load, along with an Arctic Liquid Freezer 280mm. So I did some research and found the sweet spot at 4750MHz all core OC permanently, with 32 idle and 67 degrees under stress. I don't think the 5700X would have reached this performance, so I'm quite satisfied.
Προσωπικά ακούγοντας τις κριτικές είχα σχηματίσει μια εντελώς διαφορετική άποψη αμαναμεσα σε αυτόν και τον 5700 Χ.Ωστοσο στην πράξη τα πράγματα είναι αλλιώς σίγουρα δεν είναι ψυχρός επεξεργαστής αλλά δεν είναι και το τέρας που άκουγα δεξιά κι αριστερα.Αν τον κρατήσεις με στοκ ρυθμίσεις και δεν θεσ να ψαχτείς καλύτερα πήγαινε σε 5700Χ αν έχεις ωστόσο την υπομονή να τον δουλέψεις λίγο το αποτέλεσμα είναι παραπάνω από ικανοποιητικό.Εμενα με στοκ ρυθμίσεις μπουσταρε μέχρι 4950mhz με 43 idle και Μαξ 83 σε load μαζί με μια Arctic Liquid Freezer 280mm οπότε έψαξα λίγο και βρήκα το sweet spot στα 4750mhz all core oc μόνιμα με 32 idle και 67 βαθμούς under stress.Δεν νομίζω ο 5700Χ να έφτανε σε αυτήν την απόδοση οπότε είμαι αρκετά ευχαριστημένος

I don't have liquid cooling, I have the arctic freezer 2 double fan...and I've put the paste that came with the cooler in a small tube on top...

My old motherboard is this one: ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS RETAIL, and my memory is: RAM KINGSTON KF432C16BBK2/16 FURY BEAST 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 3200MHZ DUAL KIT. My power supply is a 600W Sharkoon. I recently bought the processor and also got an MSI GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, and I got a 27-inch Xiaomi monitor at 200 fps. The computer runs great, very good processor for those who have old systems with DDR4 memory, the upgrade is worth it. The newer systems are getting more expensive, especially with DDR5 memory

CPU Cooler PURE ROCK 3 BLACK εκανα προσφατα αναβαθμιση τον υπολογιστη μου η παλια μητρικη που εχω ειναι αυτη ΜΗΤΡΙΚΗ ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS RETAIL και οι μνημες μου αυτες RAM KINGSTON KF432C16BBK2/16 FURY BEAST 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 3200MHZ DUAL KIT τροφοδοτικο εχω 600 αρι τις sharkoon προσφατα αγορασα των επεξεργαστη και πηρα και καρτα γραφικων τις msi geforce rtx 3050 και πηρα και οθονη 27 αρα xiaomi στα 200 fps μια χαρα παει ο υπολογιστης πολλη καλος επεξεργαστης για οσοι εχουν παλια συστηματα με ddr 4 μνημες αξιζει η αναβαθμιση τα πιο καινουργια συστηματα ανεβαινουν οι τιμες ειδικα σε μνημες ddr 5
very good processor, it can take a lot of beating. it doesn't slow down for anything. I use the computer for demanding gaming and video and image editing. even now after 1.5 years it doesn't lag at all!
πολύ καλός επεξεργαστής αντέχει πολύ ξύλο. δεν γονατίζει με τίποτα. χρησιμοποιώ τον υπολογιστή για απαιτητικό gaming και επεξεργασία βίντεο και εικόνας. ακόμα και τώρα ενωωρον έχω 1.5 χρόνο δεν μασάει τίποτα!
I've been working with it, I play it with overclock ceiling 4.7 GHz all-core 1.28 V, it reaches 80-85 °C under load... that is, constantly, but combined with good 240 water cooling, frequent replacement of thermal paste... EXCELLENT 10/10!!! 2.5 years old and still running stable! My system: Asus x470f-gaming Ram 4x4 32GB Ryzen 5800x 2x SSD m2 1TB and 500GB RTX 4070 OC
Ασχολούμαι μαζί του, τον παίζω με overclock ταβάνι
4.7 GHz all-core 1.28 V πιάνει 80-85 °C φορτωμένος.. δηλαδή συνέχεια , αλλά σε συνδυασμό με καλή υδρόψυξη 240, συχνή αντικατάσταση θερμικής πάστας…ΕΞΑΙΡΕΤΙΚΟΣ 10/10 !!!
2,5 ετών και βαράει ακόμη σταθερά !

Amazing CPU, I came from the 2600x and as some others say, the difference is noticeable! It needs a good cooler because it's one of those CPUs that gets hot when pushed to the limit! I recommend it, of course, if you can get it for around 150-170 euros! (which is what I paid for it too!)
τρομερος cpu ηρθα απο το 2600x και οπως λενε και καποια ακομα η διαφορα φαινεται! θελει μια καλη ψυκτρα γιατι ειναι απο τους cpu που ζεστενουν οταν τα δινουν ολα! το προτεινω βεβαια αν εκανε γυρο στα 150-170 ευρω!(οπου και τον πηρα και εγω!)
In the era of ramageddon, if you don't want to pay these outrageous prices for RAM and you want to do an AM4 build, this is the best you can get. I combined it with a Be Quiet Pure Rock Pro 3, Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 rev. 1.0 Wi-Fi Motherboard ATX with AMD AM4 Socket, AMD 9060 XT 16GB. With the Lian Li 217 case, everything is cool, runs perfectly, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to buy a PC. It can run everything for the next 3-5 years, by which time I hope prices will return to reasonable levels and you can go for AM5 or even AM6, which may be out by then.
Στην εποχή του ramageddon άμα δεν θέλεις να πληρώσεις αυτές τις εξωφρενικές τιμές σε ram και να κάνεις AM4 build αυτό είναι ότι καλύτερο μπορείς να πάρεις. Το συνδύασα με Be Quiet Pure Rock Pro 3, Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 rev. 1.0 Wi-Fi Motherboard ATX με AMD AM4 Socket, AMD 9060 XT 16GB. Με Lian Li 217 case όλα είναι παγωμένα τρέχουν τέλεια θα το συμβούλευα σε όποιον θέλει να αγοράσει pc. Μπορεί να τρέχει τα πάντα για τα επόμενα 3-5 χρόνια που ελπίζω να επιστρέψουν οι τιμές σε λογικά επίπεδα και να πας για AM5 ή ακόμα και σε AM6 που μπορεί να έχει βγει μέχρι τότε.
