Description

All people – rich, poor, healthy, sick, those who love and those who hate – have the right of free will. The need for personal development. For evolution. For renewal.

Some start a new life by buying a faster car; others by buying a new pair of shoes or going to the hairdresser for a haircut change. We begin with WORD.

The book you hold in your hands is the most important move you have made in a long time to solve what you consider to be your problem: WEIGHT. The mistake you have made so far is the same as half of humanity in its attempt to solve a problem: acting impulsively and without any strategy.

Usually – when we seek change – we start from the outside in. We are mainly concerned with eliminating the symptom, making it invisible, rather than exploring the cause.

The movement we will make here together in this book starts from within us and goes outward. True change begins from the inside out.

The book does not reveal what it deals with, it has a cover related to food and internally it is a religious book. I would not recommend anyone to buy it as it hides from the buyer that it is a purely religious book. I would not choose a book by the same author as I no longer have trust. I would like to know before I waste my money that it is a book presented as scientific but has purely religious content with zero respect for the reader, who may for example be an atheist, Muslim, or simply enjoy reading a book by a university professor. It certainly did not help that more than half of the book consists of excerpts from others' texts.

Very beautiful book, it talks about things that people who struggle with their relationship with food feel. The perspective it gives by changing your thinking makes this book the first in its category because it is the only one I have read that helps you see what the cause is of the irrational relationship with food and understand why it happens so you can fight against it. Only this way can someone be truly helped. I highly recommend it to anyone who struggles with their relationship with food. Of course, I will also get the other two books written by the same author.

The title of the book has no relation to the content and above all to the description on the back of the book. The author - especially in the last chapter "Our Spirit" chooses a very difficult language and refers to parts of the New Testament and the Gospel. Her suggestion for those who want to heal their relationship with food: prayer, fasting, and the help of a spiritual guide. The book is not worth its money. What a shame!

It gave me what I wanted about 10%, with many references to other texts. The other texts are not easy to read and incredibly boring. In the last part, it turns heavily towards religion, with huge quotes from religious texts, also boring. The top line towards the end, the icing on the cake: Practically, replace your diet with a "prayer book". I do not recommend it especially to people who are not Orthodox Christians, since as a Christian myself, I was trying to understand what I was reading towards the end... I only kept about 20 pages out of the heavy 260

I really struggle to finish the book because although it starts well, it becomes purely religious in its subject matter. I am not an atheist, but still, it doesn't seem helpful at all to me. The title has no relation to what you read and expect.

So many pages without any practical advice, only annoying religious propaganda. The author probably hasn't found her identity yet between being a scientist and a believer. Annoying references to childhood in Germany, all in the first person. It's not worth buying. And if you are followers of the doctrine, just go to church. You won't find any answers in this book.

It's worth it! The information provided by its reading is substantial through scientific, psychological, and spiritual approaches. It paves the way and opens the reader's disposition to self-awareness of the passions that torment them. It goes beyond the limits of theory and touches the personal experience of the author, which word for word brings us to moments of "awkwardness" in the embrace of truth.

  • I was expecting a book on psychology, but instead, I felt like this particular book was religious propaganda.

  • Very beautiful book, it talks about things that people who struggle with their relationship with food feel.

  • The title of the book has no relation to the content and above all to the description on the back of the book.

  • It gave me what I wanted about 10%, with many references to other texts.
