    I used it to glue the metal base of the mirror, I left it to dry well for a whole night, scraped both surfaces well with a razor to remove the old glue and cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. It only sticks the metal base to the windshield, NOT PLASTIC!

The Permatex Rearview Mirror Adhesive kit reattaches the mirror mount to the windshield and contains a two-component adhesive. The adhesive sets for at least 30 minutes after application. Not recommended for plastic parts.
