The extension tubes are combined between the lenses and the camera, increasing the distance between the lens and the sensor. This results in greater magnification and reduced depth of field, making it easier to isolate the subject from the background. These extension tubes can be used with many, almost all, lenses. They are most effective for close-up shots with small focal lengths in the normal or slightly telephoto range.

Three extension tubes for more flexibility. The set includes three extension tubes in different sizes. These can be combined in any way, allowing you to achieve very different magnifications with the same basic lens.

Note that the extension tubes increase the light path, so the exposure time will be longer, for example, four times longer at a 1:1 scale.
