It logically goes on top of the old one, so it's very easy. Because I didn't think about it, I took off the old (genuine) one and then realized that in order to put it on exactly as the genuine one was, the bottom seam with the elastic needs to be removed. I did it and it fit very well on the ACCENT. Now, how long it will last, time will tell. Because it gets worn out, it's better for anyone who gets it to put a cover on top to protect it.
