The Kaiser processing mat is suitable for use in darkrooms, ideal for processing film and photographic prints up to 30 x 40 cm (12 x 16 inches). It is made of durable plastic, resistant to acid and temperatures up to 80°C. It features a grooved bottom for improved chemical flow and easier print removal, as well as a rim for comfortable drainage. It includes a recess for a processing thermometer and belongs to Kaiser’s 4171-4178 laboratory mat series. Its surface is white. It is used for processing photographic materials and washing prints.
