The Philips portable CD sound system is a comprehensive device that you can take with you everywhere. It frees your music from various sources – Bluetooth, USB, CD, cassettes, DAB, and FM radio. Wireless music transmission via Bluetooth through a smartphone. With the USB Direct function, simply connect the desired USB device to the USB port of the Philips device and enjoy direct music playback from the device. The bass reflex speaker system produces a rich sound experience from a small-sized speaker system. It differs from conventional speaker systems as it features an additional bass pipe, acoustically aligned with the woofer, to enhance the system's low-frequency damping. The result is richer bass and less distortion. The system works by tuning the air mass in the bass pipe to resonate like a conventional woofer. Combined with the woofer's response, the system extends the overall low-frequency sounds to create a new dimension of rich bass.
