This review is about packaging: Tray, with cooler: No

As a brand name, the 3500X is very good as it is one number different from the 3600X, which was and still is one of the most popular processors for gaming...
Unfortunately, that's where their similarities end, as the 3500X is indeed six-core but does not have hyper threading like most Ryzen 5s.
Therefore, it only has 6 physical cores and not two logical ones for each physical, meaning a total of 12 threads like other Ryzens.
The tray version is indeed economical but the 4500 with a cooler costs just 10-15 euros more (which is about the price of a very cheap cooler) and also has hyper threading!!!

The processor is normal, but in 2025 it's weak. It's better to take the r5 5500 or 2800x at a flea market.

I got two! One is on an ASrock ab350m pro4 motherboard, overclock type, and I have it running at 4300MHz stable without any problems with the cooler from the Ryzen 5 3400G, which is more high-quality, and maximum temperatures at 70C during a 100% GPU usage stress test. In PUBG, which is the most CPU intense game, at 4300MHz stable OC and 99% usage all the time, it hits 90 fps in the heaviest scenario and the average experience is at 150fps+ and always a maximum of 180fps in fights. It was bought for about 40 euros for experimental purposes and for its price it is the best value for money on the market

What can I say! A very respectable 6 cores / 6 threads processor with 32 mb cache to play your games and a gift price! 40 euros. You grab an MSI B450 A Pro Max (the cheapest decent motherboard in B450 without frills..) and a 16GB RAM and you have a beautiful setup! The plus is that it can last for about six months with the terrible stock cooler that AMD provides! From me, a 5-star without hesitation!

It's a good processor, but don't make any mistake to buy it at the extreme prices they offer because with that much money you can go for a Threadripper...

Because many words are poverty and we are already poor, the processor is amazing at a reasonable price since everything has gone to heaven. I definitely recommend it!
There is no issue with temperatures, I had it open for 3 days for some tasks and it didn't go above 50

For those who know, this processor first came out in China!

6/6 cores very powerful maybe I would say even superior in games compared to 2600 and 3300x/3100

Expect it to drop to 130-140 euros

Definitely a very good CPU and a noticeable upgrade from the 3100 and 3300X. However, in this price range, it loses to the competition since it has 6 fewer threads. If you can find it 20 euros cheaper, the CPU is great!
