In 1883, Thanasis Rakitzi produced the ouzo that became famous, initially in Evros and then throughout Greece, in Didymoteicho.
Today, Rakitzi ouzo is still produced in the same traditional way. Selected quality anise and aromatic plants compose the secret recipe of the Rakitzi family, which gives the renowned "OUZO RAKITZI" its incomparable taste.
The passion of four generations of the Rakitzi family for achieving perfection, as well as adherence to old distillation techniques, give us an exceptional ouzo worth trying.
