  • The test features a color sensor depending on the levels of ammonia in your aquarium. It is advisable to avoid hand contact with the test sensor as it may compromise its reliability.
  • The ammonia test changes color from yellow-green to blue when there is an ammonia concentration in the aquarium. It detects less than 0.05 mg/liter (PPM) of free ammonia and warns you before any indication of threatening levels.

    The colors are a bit close, at least in the safe with alert, and it confuses you a bit as a negative, but you get used to it.
