Description

The ultimate professional ultra-wide-angle f/2.8 zoom lens. Its exceptional performance and compact design make it stand out from any other ultra-wide-angle zoom lens on the market. It is the world's smallest full-frame f/2.8 ultra-wide-angle zoom lens.

Night Landscapes

Point light sources, such as stars or cityscape lights, no longer require time-consuming edits. With such high resolution, you can be sure that no details will be missing from your photos, regardless of brightness.

Optical Performance

Sharpness is excellent across the entire frame. Light falloff at the edges is effectively controlled, even when shooting at maximum aperture. Nikon's nanocrystal coating and ARNEO coating drastically reduce ghosting and flare, even in backlit situations.

Silent Operation

You will always have stable and silent shots whether you want to shoot video or photos. Autofocus is smooth and silent, with virtually no change in viewing angle or focus shift during zoom adjustments.

High-Quality Construction

It is made from high-quality materials to withstand even the most challenging conditions. Extensive sealing around every moving part of the lens body protects against dust and moisture. An aluminum alloy mount reduces weight while increasing durability.

Review this product
  • For comparison with the 14-30 f4. Better sharpness, more light, and definitely less distortion on the verticals and horizontals for those who want architectural shots.
    2) I was considering the 16-30 Tamron but didn't get it because 2a) Nikon corrects distortions on camera while Tamron only in Lightroom, and I read about some issues (small but existent). 2b) Those 2mm make a difference in small spaces like bathrooms, and generally, not just there. Keep in mind that you will need to crop at some point due to correcting verticals and horizontals, so you should consider that in the end you will have a photo around 18mm, just like with the Nikon 16mm (random values, I just mean the photo will end up smaller).
