When placing a new head on an old air compressor of any brand, pay attention to the following among others:
- Pulley diameter: Check the diameter of the pulley that the previous engine and flywheel have. The number of revolutions of the head depends on the engine pulley and the head flywheel. Leave a tolerance in revolutions at least 15% below the MAXIMUM.
- Oil in the crankcase: Be sure to put oil in the crankcase before starting (SAE 40 or 30 or ISO 150).
- Direction of rotation: Check the direction of rotation of the flywheel according to the arc.
- Drive belt: Properly tighten the drive belt and the fittings of the pipe that carries the air to the air reservoir. Check the fittings for any leaks.
- Pressure switch and check valve: Check the pressure switch (automatic) and the check valve internally. Ensure the existence of a safety valve.
- Suction Rate
- 321 lt/min
- Recommended Engine Power
- 2 hp
