When fitting a new head on an old air compressor of any brand, pay attention to the following, among other things:
- Pulley Diameter: Check the diameter of the pulley on the previous motor and the flywheel. The number of revolutions of the head depends on the motor pulley and the head flywheel. Allow a tolerance for the revolutions at least 15% below the MAXIMUM.
- Oil: Be sure to put oil in the crankcase before starting (SAE 40 or 30 or ISO 150).
- Direction of Rotation: Check the direction of rotation of the flywheel to cool the head.
- Drive Belt: Properly tighten the drive belt and the couplings of the pipe that carries the air to the air tank. Check the couplings for any leakage during operation.
- Pressure Switch: Check the pressure switch (automatic) and the internal check valve. Ensure the presence of a safety valve.
- Suction Rate
- 365 lt/min
- Recommended Engine Power
- 3 hp
