The TP-LINK TL-SF1009P v1 switch connects devices through 9 Ethernet 10/100 Mbps ports, 8 of which support PoE+ for data and power transmission over the same cable. Extend Mode increases the data and power transmission range to up to 250 m, for applications such as IP camera surveillance. Priority Mode prioritizes ports 1–2, while Isolation Mode separates traffic between connected devices at the touch of a button.

Power management reduces power to lower-priority ports when total consumption exceeds 65 W. The switch detects the power requirements of PoE devices, operates without configuration and has a metal casing.
