Catheter application procedure:

• Inform the patient
• Prepare the tray and bring it close to the patient
• Set up a screen
• Remove the pajamas
• Position laterally
• Place a square waterproof cloth
• Ask to bend their legs
• Place the container on the square with the opening facing the patient’s seat
• Open the bag of the tube from the back and take out the tube
• Lubricate its tip with Vaseline using cotton
• Move one buttock away from the other with tissue paper and insert the anterior tip 7-10 cm while the other end is placed inside the container where water may be present
• Leave for 10 minutes, repeat after 2-3 hours
• Remove and clean
