Dreadnought Body Construction & Tonewoods

The Lâg T118DCE is based on the classic Dreadnought Cutaway shape, delivering powerful acoustic projection and deep bass frequencies. The solid red cedar top offers a quick response and a warm, sweet tone that reacts immediately, even to light fingerpicking. The African mahogany (Khaya) back and sides enhance the midrange, while the glossy Brown Sunburst finish highlights the instrument’s aesthetic appeal.

Neck, BrankoWood Fingerboard & Ergonomics

The Khaya Mahogany neck features a satin finish for a smooth feel as your hand glides along it. The fingerboard and bridge are made from BrankoWood (Brownwood), an eco-friendly, sustainably treated wood with high rigidity and stability against environmental changes. The black graphite nut and saddle reduce string friction, optimizing vibration transfer and tuning stability.

Astro-Lâg Electronic Preamp System

For connecting to amplification systems or mixing consoles, the guitar features the advanced Astro-Lâg preamp system paired with a Shadow piezo pickup. It offers extensive tonal control with a 3-band equalizer (Bass, Middle, Treble), an adjustable Notch filter to eliminate acoustic feedback, a Brilliant control for added treble clarity, and a Phase switch. It also includes a built-in digital chromatic tuner with an easy-to-read display.
