It is an extremely spacious case, the largest mid case I have ever seen. It could easily pass as a full tower, but for some reason they label it as a mid case. The build quality is impressive to say the least. The cable management is a dream. The temperatures and airflow are exactly what you need for a budget build, and the upgrade options are limitless.

There are many extras, such as the ability to rotate it so that the glass is on the right or left, which was the main reason for my choice.

Overall, I didn't think I would enjoy building a PC, but this case with its many conveniences and options made it a pleasure.

Planning for future upgrades, I realized it will be very easy since I don't need to dismantle everything to add an extra fan or a few more SSDs.

The size worries me. It's a monster. I like that it's quiet and sturdy and that it has plenty of space inside, but as positive as the size is, it's also a negative. It could be smaller.

In conclusion, the case gets a 10/10 in all aspects. It is what I will use for all my builds and upgrades comfortably for the next 10 years.

Quite a high-quality case and a very positive fact that it is modular (extra panels). This way, everyone can find the best combination for themselves (mesh panels or not / airflow or "noise") and in the end, we can all agree to place the mesh front panel. It is preferable for the case fans to operate at the 2nd level (quiet) and have the mesh rather than the 3rd level (which makes a bit of noise) and have the closed panel. The temperature differences are 4-6C on the CPU under load and similarly on the other subsystems.

If I wanted to look for negatives, I would say that although it is a fairly large case, in some areas, cable management might be a bit challenging. For example, the foam material of the side panel takes up quite a bit of space and it took me a while to figure out where it was and why the case wouldn't close. I wanted to pass some (small) cables from the bottom of the motherboard but the gap left by the case was too small. The 3 case fans, while not bad, are not among the best in their category. They operate at 500/800/1000rpm and only at 1000rpm do they make a little noise. The plastic feet (located on the outside of the foam) require quite a bit of force to insert and when I want to slide it sideways, it makes me a little concerned about their durability.

However, I do not consider these things to be deterrents. If I had known them beforehand, I would still buy this case.

It is an expensive but exceptional product. I bought it for a new system with Ryzen 5 5600X, 32GB Trident Z ARGB @ 3200MHz, ROG B550-F Gaming WiFi II, as well as be quiet! Light Wings 140mm fans and be quiet! Silent Loop 240mm AIO.

My main goal was to have a relatively quiet system with good airflow. As for the result, where do I begin? The Silent Base 802 is a joy to work with, with excellent ergonomic details (such as the drawer for the AIO loop on the top) and impressive features.

Firstly, the case has excellent modability. It can change the front and top panels (with the option of closed foam-lined sections for better sound insulation or mesh for better airflow), and it also supports full build reorientation, with the glass being moved to the right side instead of the left. The side panels are easily and comfortably removable with the use of buttons, the front panel is latched, and the top panel is magnetic. All filters are easily accessible from the front, including the bottom filter!

The included fans are 140mm 1000rpm with a 3-pin connection intended for use with the 6-fan controller. This allows for three speed settings (low, medium, high) or PWM mode with direct control from the motherboard.

The rear and bottom sections of the case allow for many options for cable management and disk installation. From the "mother" case, it supports up to three 3.5-inch disks (with the option to purchase additional parts for more), as well as numerous 2.5-inch drives both in the 3.5-inch bays and behind the motherboard. The rubber grommets and plastic panels of the shroud that connect to the main chamber allow for discreet cable routing as needed. There are also plenty of points for cable ties.

The Silent Base 802 is not cheap, but it is definitely a quality construction with meticulous details. If you are interested in case modability, good dust filters, and/or having a quiet system, I highly recommend considering it.

The best case I could have gotten. And very beautiful. After A LOT of searching. It comes with 3 (2+1) BeQuiet fans. I added another one in the front, the same model but more powerful (1600rpm) for inflow since I have 4 outflow fans with liquid cooling. After adjusting the settings, the noise is normal (low, that is). AMAZING cable management, and a nice fan control hub. The transparent side is flawless and everything inside looks impressive.

It comes with two external configuration panels: one for lower noise (Insulated closed panels) and one for better airflow (Mesh panels). Of course, you use the second one, there's no noise issue. However, there might be a temperature issue with the first one. It can fit as many hard drives as you want. I have 3.

The case is good, very expensive though without a particular reason, just because of "trend" and brand, I suppose. It's not that it didn't deserve the original price it came with (~150) but at the prices you can find it now, just no.

So, moving on from the amazing Phanteks Enthoo Pro. Comparisons are inevitable.

Here we have a good looking case, spacious, easy to build with nice features, such as the removable parts of the PSU shroud (you can literally disassemble it, if you want), removable bracket to mount the radiator externally, 3x140 good fans, the ability to switch mesh & silent front panel and top panels, huge cutout for the 8pin eps. And for some unimaginable reason, all of this is overshadowed by the space in the back, which is really scarce.
As if that's not enough, there is this thick sound dampening material on the side, which makes your life difficult. Honestly, with the panel open or closed, I didn't notice any difference, only be quiet knows the reason for the soundproofing (even though theoretically, when you want to "soundproof" a case, you do it from everywhere, however in this particular case, I don't know if it makes sense).

For someone who has PSU cable extensions, 3 HDD & 2 SSD, RGB fans as well as an AIO (with all the extra cables that come with it), like me, cable management is a big pain. If you have cable extensions, prepare yourself psychologically. It's completely sticky and you're playing a game of chance on how it will close.

The situation is saved (in the version with a window) by the fact that the covers for the extra HDDs that you have in the slots where you would put them (the case includes an extra HDD "floating" caddy), create channels for some cables, mainly those of the front panel, etc. If you want to populate all the HDD slots, get angled SATA, the little bit you save from the angled one will save you from damaging a SATA cable. Unthinkable for a case of this size. With my girlfriend's Dx500, I finished in 15 minutes, here I spent 1 and a half hours trying to figure out why it wouldn't close (even with pressure). I finally managed, after another half an hour of rearrangements.
It's worth mentioning that there are many tie points for cable ties. I don't remember how many. Routing is somewhat improved this way, however, the main problem is not that, but the soundproofing, as I mentioned at the beginning.
I should mention that the 4pin PWM of the fan hub/controller that the case has is so short that in 80% of cases it won't reach the CPU fan header. If I didn't have a PWM extension, I would have been left with the case in my hand (or I would have had to use the motherboard's fan headers and leave the fan hub unused).

All of the above does not apply to the Phanteks, beware, a case from 2014 (and revised in 2018 with a tempered glass edition, which I had bought, having sold the original version). It may not have the most modern look, but in the end it was so far ahead of its time... Sturdy, ultimate price, space, comfort, and easy cable management.

In terms of airflow, the Be Quiet wins. HDD and NVMe have dropped by 5 degrees, with an ambient temperature of 19 degrees in both cases. Logical since there are no HDD cages in the front to restrict airflow. Graphics card the same. God of War at 62c with the same paste changed in the summer) while it had 63 in the Phanteks. I didn't try the solid panel, I have the AIO as an exhaust on the top, the same setup I had. I have the same temperatures on the 8700K, but now I have it +200Mhz all cores.

I should add that the case does not have any RGB. If you want to add, it requires study. I had a deepcool 360 (power from molex, ohh), which is not easily hidden. Prefer a strip that connects to the RGB or argb of the motherboard, it will save you a lot of trouble.

All in all, a powerful case with a major drawback in cable management.

Edit: I also tried the solid panel (with the mesh on the top since the AIO is exhaust and otherwise it will "suffocate") and I have a difference of 6-7 degrees, having the fan control on "Auto". I do not reach a point where the GPU (GTX 1080 Ti) or CPU need to lower clocks for smooth operation. Keep in mind that, in order for Auto to work, you must (in most cases) set your fans to "PWM mode" from the bios. In my case, I manually set the temperature values and the percentage I want the fans to run at and thus achieve quite good results without missing the NZXT fan controller I had. The difference is noticeable in noise. For anything that arises, I will update the review!

Final Edit:
almost after 2 years of coexistence, the case went to the living room in a modest build HTPC (big for the living room but we don't mind) and was replaced by the Antec Performance 1 FT, which for some reason is classified as a Full Tower, with smaller dimensions and yet with the same cables, I manage better Cable Management. The Airflow remains the same as with the Be Quiet, the drawback being the lack of a fan controller but I got a phanteks universal to do my job.
Now of course in the system plays Asrock Z790 Riptide with 13700K & RTX 4080, so there is no direct comparison of temperatures with my old comment that had older Hardware, however the above played 1+ year in the Be Quiet! The differences are negligible. From noise, it's more or less the same

Buy at 175, the case simply rocks, one of the best cases I've ever had in my hands all these years, tremendous quality that is immediately apparent. With i5-11400 at 4.3 GHz, 3x140 bequiet high-speed PWM fans in the front, one 140 at the back, and one 140 on top, combined with the Noctua NH-D15 Black Chromax, the temperatures are very good. With the mesh in front, it stays at 26-29 in idle, and with it closed in front, it stays at 28-32 in idle, minimal difference as long as you have good fans in the front and PWM, not the ones that come with the case because they are quite weak at 1000 rpm and are not PWM. I didn't use the mesh on top, I didn't care, I wanted to put a fan there, so it covered me perfectly. It will cover everything in terms of space without any problem. Cable management is very good, the only thing that bothered me is that the material of the sound insulation on the side of the cables is very thick and very hard, so you have to do good cable management, as flat as possible because a bulge that I had made it a bit difficult to close the lid. Very quiet case, even with the mesh in front, you can only hear the fans at full speed, but in general, you can't hear it at all. In games, I haven't seen it go above 50 degrees yet (depends on what you're playing) and what cooler you have, but in terms of airflow, the case performs very well even with the front panel closed. In the summer, I will definitely put the mesh to breathe better. If you have the money, get it without hesitation. Even the 601 will cover you if you don't need the mesh as much as the 802, it's essentially the same case. I currently have it closed in front and I have no issues, considering that 2-3 degrees is not something significant, the difference will definitely show in the heat.
