The QNap TS-1232PXU-RP-4G NAS Rack supports up to 12 HDDs or SSDs and features a redundant power supply for uninterrupted operation. It has a quad-core 1.7 GHz AnnapurnaLabs Alpine AL-324 processor and 4 GB of DDR4 memory. Network connections include two 10GbE SFP+ ports and two 2.5GbE ports, while the PCIe Gen 2 x2 slot supports expansion cards for additional networking, SSD caching or wireless connectivity.

It supports file backup and synchronisation, snapshots, and backup services for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365®. HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync), Qsync and QNAP Boxafe support data, file, email, calendar and contact backup, restoration and synchronisation. It also includes SSD caching, Qtier automatic storage tiering, SSD over-provisioning, and expansion via QNAP TR or TL JBOD and VJBOD.
