I got it for the soldering in the workshop. It helps a lot, before I used to hold them in the vice, because mainly I was working on boards and not wires, etc. However, I did a renovation and had hundreds of solders, so it saved me, we are getting older too, so the magnifying glass is essential!
το πήρα για τις κολλήσεις στο εργαστήριο. βοηθάει πάρα πολύ, παλιά τα κόλλαγα στη μέγγενη, διότι κυρίως ήμουν πάνω σε πλακέτες και όχι καλώδια κλπ. Όμως έκανα μια ανακαίνιση και είχε εκατοντάδες κολλήσεις οπότε με έσωσε, γερνάμε κιόλας οπότε ο φακός βασικός!

On the positive side, the relatively small size and portability, the LED light (with 3 AA batteries), and the very good quality of the magnifying lens that does not distort. Even if it only had these, it would do the job for me.
On the points that need improvement: The tightening of the arms could be better, without this meaning that you won't get the job done. It just requires a bit more effort to stabilize it, which is reasonable to some extent due to the small size and limited space for maneuvering.
