Description & Specifications

The modified emulsion Sika SikaLatex®Max improves the adhesion of cement mortars to concrete, stone, brick, metal, glass and ceramics, even on smooth surfaces. It enhances elasticity and flexibility, reduces shrinkage and cracking, and improves watertightness, surface hardness, and resistance to abrasion and chemicals. Mortars containing the product are easier to work with and apply.

It is used in bonding mortars, waterproof mortars, masonry mortars and renders, as well as in flooring and concrete repairs. Its formulation is based on modified styrene resins and contains no alkylphenols (APEO).

  • Mixing ratio with water for general applications: 1:4 to 1:7 by volume
  • Mixing ratio with water for renders: 1:4 to 1:5 by volume
  • Consumption: 5–10% by cement weight, depending on the application
  • APEO content: Free from alkylphenols
