It doesn't hold the miniatures very well

It does what it needs to do. The only small complaint is its base, which could be a bit thicker so that it has a better center of gravity and there is no fear of it falling when placed somewhere

It is lightweight, useful that it has adjustable opening for multiple bases, but I really don't think it's worth it because firstly it can slightly damage the plastic of the base (okay, you can paint it on top), but secondly its side points hinder access to the lower points of the miniature. I consider a small plastic wedge or a clamp or a wooden base with a little blue tack to be more convenient.

For anyone using handles for miniature painting and is tired of making one, this is probably what you need. I bought it for emergencies, to have it ready next to my brushes. I tried it with 27mm and 32mm bases. With the latter, there were a few times when the miniature tended to come out of its position, hence the -1 star. In terms of grip, for my hands and my habit of holding the miniature in one hand and switching between 1 or 2 brushes quickly, it is very convenient and comfortable. It is lightweight. I am thinking of getting another one.
