The DFRobot Gravity: Analog pH meter V2 sensor is specifically designed for measuring the pH of a solution, reflecting acidity or alkalinity. It is commonly used in various applications such as hydroponics, aquaculture, and environmental water testing. As an upgraded version of the pH meter V1, this product significantly improves accuracy and user experience. The built-in voltage regulator supports a wide voltage range of 3.3~5.5V, compatible with main control boards of 5V and 3.3V. The output signal, filtered by the hardware, has low noise. The software library adopts the two-point calibration method and can automatically recognize two standard buffer solutions (4.0 and 7.0), making the process simple and convenient.
pH is a value that measures the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. It is also an indicator of hydrogen ion concentration. It is a scale of hydrogen ion activity in a solution. pH has a wide range of uses in medicine, chemistry, and agriculture. Typically, pH is a number between 0 and 14. Under standard thermodynamic conditions, pH=7, which means the solution is neutral. pH above 7 means the solution is alkaline.
Attention:- The BNC connector and the signal conversion board must remain dry and clean; otherwise, they will affect the input, resulting in inaccurate measurements.
- The signal conversion board should not be placed directly on a wet or semiconductor surface, affecting the input.
- The sensitive glass bulb at the pH sensor's head should avoid contact with hard materials.
- After completing the measurement, disconnect the pH sensor from the signal conversion board.
- Wide voltage input range of 3.3~5.5V
