Description

The Commander helmet by Airoh is a top-tier helmet suitable for On/Off use, made from high-strength synthetic fibers. It stands out for its unique modern design, high ergonomics, and rich features.

It can be used in two different ways thanks to its modular design and character. This means that the visor can be removed when used with a naked or sport touring bike, while with the visor, it is the ideal solution for use with On/Off and adventure bikes.

Airoh has incorporated the latest technology into the Commander, providing the demanding rider with comfort and absolute protection even in the most extreme driving conditions.

Additionally, the Airoh helmet features a visor with significantly greater range for top performance and a wider field of view, and it also comes with a Pinlock film. The ventilation system also offers ideal conditions inside the helmet.

Finally, it is equipped with an internal retractable visor for protection from the sun's rays and an outer shell made from high-performance synthetic fibers.

I give it a 4/5 rating. The only disadvantage in my opinion is the noise, which is not very annoying but can be heard whether you remove the visor or not.

    Positive points:
    - In appearance, it is twice as good as in the photos.
    - Easy adjustment of the visor/go pro/intercom, pin lock.
    - Large field of view.
    - Sufficiently ventilated.
    - Lightweight

I consider it first and foremost one of the most beautiful dual sport helmets. Both its shape, attractive and not "alien" or excessive like others in its category, and its graphics are appealing.
I fell in love with the Skill Matt at first sight. It is even more beautiful up close.
Among the very positive aspects are the large field of vision, the built-in glasses, the pinlock, the accessories (gopro mount), and of course the ability to remove the visor with conversion accessories. The reflective elements on the pads at the back of the helmet are a pleasant surprise, as they help the rider's visibility for following drivers.
As for the negatives... Coming from a relatively "quiet" Shoei helmet, you cannot ignore the aerodynamic noise, not so annoying but it exists. It is logical for a helmet with a visor, as well as the fact that after some kilometers, you notice some vibrations. If you slightly lower the chin, the "problem" is solved.
In order to install an intercom, the interior of the helmet had to be significantly modified, which I must admit is a bit like a puzzle from a construction point of view.
The helmet was purchased at a Black Friday price of €270. I consider it to be a great value for money for that price. I don't think I would have bought it at its regular price of €360, as for an additional €50-100, you can buy something much better.

P.S. For those who are not interested in the built-in sun glasses, I believe that the entire mechanism can be removed, which would reduce the already low weight by 50-100 grams.

It is a dual sport helmet... with the visor it does not hold up to 160... it has a slight tremor, but if you want a highway trip and take off the visor, no problem! It is like a full face road helmet with tremendous visibility of the visor and light for its type! The quality is a step below the top but very good! The noise is normal, although I always wear earplugs on trips... it also does its job well off-road with glasses. The extras are important, it has intercom capability, pinlock, and internal tinted visor. Although I bought an extra mirror which is very good. Also, the base it has for an action camera ready for the visor is very nice. I got it on sale for 268 and at this price, it is a one-way street
