DDR4

DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM technology for computers. It replaces DDR3 and offers increased speeds and capacity.

It offers operating speeds from 2133MT/s to 4800MT/s, latency (CAS Latency) from CL 9 to CL 22, while its capacity has increased up to 32GB per memory module.

For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger the size we choose, the better performance we will have in our system, while for latency (CL), we want the smallest size for the speed (MT/s) we have chosen.

The above characteristics should be compatible with the specifications of our motherboard.

The Trident Z Neo DDR4 provides speed at 3600MT/s, with CL16 and 32GB per memory module.

Compatibility

    Well, it's one of the best RAM for Ryzen 3000 series. It was purchased for 160€. I paired it with an Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming motherboard and Ryzen 7 3700X, and it worked flawlessly. Don't forget to enable D.O.C.P in the BIOS to run at 3600mhz c16-16-16-36. I haven't tried overclocking yet, but I'm sure I can lower the timings with minimal voltage. Overall, they are very beautiful and high-quality. The reason I chose these over the corresponding capacity and speed of G.Skill Royal Silver is 1. the price and 2. because these are optimized for Ryzen. Also, I forgot to mention above that I can control the RGB through Aura. I highly recommend them.
