For damp plaster or concrete surfaces in basements, walls and air-conditioned spaces with visible moisture, Neotex Betofix Waterstop acrylic emulsion paint is designed to withstand negative pressure. Once dry, it helps protect against moisture released from the substrate and offers excellent adhesion, even on porous or highly alkaline surfaces. It does not yellow and withstands washing with detergents.
This is a solvent-based paint, thinned with Neotex® 1111. It can be applied without requiring extensive surface preparation. Drying time is 4–5 hours. If a second coat is required, recoat after 24 hours.
