Design and Materials: BMC's specialized engineers use advanced software and technologies to produce BMC air filters. An F1 filter must be very lightweight, made from the best raw materials, and enhance performance. Only woven alloys with epoxy coating are used to protect against gasoline fumes and moisture-induced oxidation. The filtering material consists of a special cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil for optimal air permeability.

Advanced Technology: BMC's technical staff has developed a specific production system based on soft rubber molding, which produces the familiar red BMC filters. They are made in a single piece without welded joints, avoiding the risks of breakage. This system, called "Full Molding," comes from R&D in F1 and is significant for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
