Heavy, quite bulky and sturdy like a joystick, with a satisfying feel on the lever (small travel). The buttons seem to be slightly softer to press than a regular electronic one. I like that they are dimly lit in the dark. As an aesthetic, the whole joystick strongly reminds me of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), I even like it as a decoration (!) on my desk.
I tried the Arcade Stick with Switch, Steam Deck, PC, and even Apple TV 4K (2020). It worked well with all of them. However, if you intend to use it for Mame / Retroarch, etc., BEFORE purchasing it, it is good to pay attention to the following:
Many old electronics from the '80s had a four-directional lever (4-way joystick: up-down-left-right), without diagonal movements. The overwhelming majority of modern joysticks (including the 8Bitdo) are now eight-directional, meaning they allow diagonal movements.
However, in games like Pac-Man / Frogger / Ghosts and Goblins, which had four-directional joysticks, the additional movements are not always translated correctly, depending on the emulator you are running. As a result, in these cases, the joystick does not always behave 'correctly' (= it will miss movements because it does not understand if the up-left movement you accidentally made means up or left in Pac-Man, it does not always climb the stairs in Ghosts and Goblins, etc.).
It is not the joystick's fault, but the game!
However, for beat-em-ups / shoot-em-ups (Final Fight / R-Type, etc.), it is very good, which is why I give it 5 stars.

Βαρύ, αρκετά ογκώδες και στιβαρό σαν joystick, με ικανοποιητική αίσθηση στο μοχλό (μικρό travel). Τα κουμπιά μου φαίνεται είναι λίγο πιο μαλακά στο πάτημα από κανονικού ηλεκτρονικού. Μου αρέσει που φωτίζονται αμυδρά στο σκοτάδι. Σαν αισθητική το όλο joystick θυμίζει πολύ Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), μου αρέσει ακόμα και σαν διακοσμητικό (!) στο γραφείο .
Δοκίμασα το Arcade Stick τόσο με Switch, Steam Deck, PC αλλά και Apple TV 4K (2020). Με όλα συνεργάστηκε καλά. Αν όμως το προορίζετε για Mame / Retroarch κλπ, ΠΡΙΝ το αγοράσετε, καλό είναι να προσέξετε τα εξής :
Αρκετά παλιά ηλεκτρονικά του '80 είχαν μοχλό τεσσάρων κατευθύνσεων ( 4-way joystick : πάνω-κάτω-αριστερά-δεξιά), χωρίς διαγώνιες κινήσεις. Η συντριπτική πλειοψηφία των σύγχρονων joysticks (και το 8Bitdo) είναι πια οκτώ κατευθύνσεων, δηλ. επιτρέπουν διαγώνιες.
Ομως, σε παιχνίδια τύπου Pac-Man / Frogger / Ghosts and Goblins, τα οποίο είχαν μοχλούς τεσσάρων κατευθύνσεων, οι επιπλέον κινήσεις δεν μεταφράζονται πάντα σωστά, αναλόγως και του emulator που τρέχετε. Ως αποτέλεσμα, σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις, το joystick δεν συμπεριφέρεται πάντα 'σωστά' ( = θα χάνει κινήσεις γιατί δεν καταλαβαίνει αν το πάνω-αριστερά που άθελα κάνατε σαν κίνηση σημαίνει πάνω ή αριστερά στο Pac-Man, δεν ανεβαίνει πάντα τις σκάλες στο Ghosts and Goblins κλπ).
Δεν φταίει το joystick, αλλά το παιχνίδι !
Ομως, πχ. για beat-em-ups / shoot-em-ups (Final Fight / R-Type κλπ), είναι πολύ καλό, γι'αυτό και τα 5 αστέρια.
