  • Enteric-coated capsules with 10% essential oil of organically grown oregano (Origanum vulgare spp. hirtum) in Greece and organic olive oil with a very high content of hydroxytyrosol (15mg-20mg per 20g of olive oil).
  • Hydroxytyrosol is an antioxidant polyphenol found in the fruits and leaves of the olive tree (Olea europaea L.).
  • According to official health claims by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), oregano has antioxidant properties due to phenolic compounds, particularly rosmarinic acid, and offers antioxidant protection.
  • The European Food Safety Authority has recognized the beneficial effect of hydroxytyrosol in reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. 

Recommended Dosage
