The panel came off for me from end to end. Even a fly passed through it while I was watching it from behind. Far away.

You enjoy the view on this particular screen, but after 8 months, the LED lights of the backlight started burning out. It didn't detach from the panel like it happened to other users. In the end, Samsung replaced the screen for me.

Well, the screen has a pretty good panel, but in order to fully appreciate it, you need to play around with the settings a bit. First of all, make sure to always have the "Black Equalizer" set to 20 (which is off, now why off is 20 and not 0, ask Samsung), set the response time to FASTER, which is very important, and turn on low input lag. Now, as for the colors, I believe I have done a good calibration, but every panel is different, so try these settings as a starting point and adjust them yourself afterwards:
    Brightness 100
    Contrast 75
    Sharpness 64
    Color:
    Red 42
    Green 38
    Blue 62
    Gamma Mode1

Also, make sure to disable HDR. This screen shouldn't even support HDR, and if you have it turned on, everything will appear washed out

I would give it a rating of five, but I'm only giving it four because the resolution is significantly reduced from the sides. As for the speakers it doesn't have, I don't think it would bother many people. You only get this screen for a room with no more than two people who want to play a game. Other than that, it has everything, well done Samsung! You can also see two photos I have uploaded showing how it looks from the center and from the side, hopefully they will be approved at some point. After a year and a few months of having it, I had a small accident. I turned it slightly to clean it and the monitor fell on the furniture (not the floor), about 30 centimeters at most, and this happened. The cost to fix it, as Samsung told me, would be 260 euros because it requires a screen replacement, so it's not worth it. I'm just writing this for anyone who already has it or wants to get it, so they know it's very delicate and should be handled with care.

The previous one I had was an LG TV monitor 24", I just got the G5 27", what I have to say is incredible detail in gaming without ghosting, incredible colors, very easy menu. The downside that many mention is its stand, personally it doesn't bother me because it fits perfectly on my desk.

I come from a Samsung 60hz screen from the 2000s, and when I made the change, the difference was unbelievable! I will speak as a regular person about the product because I don't have much knowledge about screens since I am new to the world of computers. Initially, it is very smooth and pleasant to the eyes, it doesn't tire at all unless you are in a dark room and browsing a website with a white background, but that's what the dark mode is for. In gaming, with 144Hz, it works wonders, which is the main reason I bought it. The resolution is very good, at least for games, as I don't watch movies on my PC to say. Finally, the curvature is very nice, and I don't think I will ever switch to a flat screen, only curved from now on. Oh, and one last thing, I saw some reviews complaining about the menu, but for "the average user" like me, it seemed very easy to use and convenient

The monitor is flawless, I have it for almost two months and one thing I have to say, its image is perfect 100/100, no ghosting or anything. For gaming, at this price range and even more, it has everything and you won't find anything better. Just make sure to update the drivers with USB, the latest version is 1000.6

The screen was purchased as a second screen, primarily for gaming use. For movies, I have a second IPS screen. First, I will mention the negatives. The black performance is poor and the colors are washed out, compared to the IPS screen I have next to it. Video playback is tolerable, but it takes some getting used to. Where the screen excels is in gaming. For the 280 euros I paid for it, I consider it to be a great value for money. It has amazing performance and responsiveness. I use it with a Display Port cable and have not encountered any ghosting issues that many people mention.

3 stars and many chances I gave it but it doesn't deliver. I tried it for gaming, the frequency is good but it was until I saw black. The black color on the screen is the worst and uncomfortable thing. The stand doesn't even go down and the menu is bad. I didn't even try to watch YouTube, the video resolution is very bad, my 100 euro phone has better resolution at 1080p setting, not to mention that it sometimes freezes.

So in a few words, it is connected on top of a GTX 1660ti. From the time I bought it until today, while I am doing the evaluation, I mainly play Valorant, a bright game, so I hadn't noticed anything until I clicked to watch a trailer to see it in 2k. Guys, I have never seen such ghosting in my life. So much that you don't want to watch a trailer or a movie or anything. I don't know if it's my monitor that came out like this or if everything is like this, but I'm looking to give it somewhere and get something else. The game runs smoothly. 144 Hz comfortably, perfect response, flawless menu setup directly. The stand is UNACCEPTABLE, the monitor doesn't go right or left or up or down. If you want to make it a little more user-friendly, you have to put it on a different stand.. What can I say, I hope I helped

So I have had it in my possession for 2 weeks now. Very good gaming screen, the response time and refresh rate are exactly what it says, you need to upgrade it as soon as you get it, Samsung provides the upgrade from its website if you search for it, you download it to a USB, connect it to the screen and go to the update menu. Freesync will work better with a display port, the package includes an HDMI. The colors are amazing (okay, you get 2k), the blacks are very good, with the settings I have now, which everyone adjusts as they like, I haven't noticed any ghosting that they mention. It is true that you can't adjust the height and tilt, it is fixed from the factory, but this can be solved with a desk stand if you want. It took me 1 week to get used to the curve, but that has nothing to do with the screen, I just hadn't had such a monitor before. Overall, a very good value for money choice for 2k 144hz and 1ms with Samsung's reliability. I hope I helped!

Very good screen, beautiful, good colors, delivers exactly what it is advertised for. Only two negatives, it does not come with a display port cable in the package, only one HDMI. So if you want to activate G-SYNC, you will need to purchase an extra cable. Also, the screen cannot be adjusted. Its base, that is, is not flexible. As you set it up, it stays that way.

I have had it in my possession for 2 weeks now. I use it for gaming. I will tell you its disadvantages. The screen has noticeable ghosting. In night mode and HDR mode, it turns yellow a lot, which I haven't seen happen on any other screen, resulting in me turning off night mode, which means that nights are tiring for my eyes. I haven't found a solution yet. I am disappointed with my experience so far. If I find solutions to the problems, I will come back.

It has a bit of ghosting, but everything is fine. Don't expect miracles with 270€

It is the best purchase I have made in a monitor. I upgraded to the latest firmware version 1.0006 and the screen is amazing!

  • In 2.5 years of smooth use, the panel started to burn out and the pixels were beginning to burn. The smoothing in dark areas is very poor. I didn't expect Samsung to break and have such poor quality

  • The panel came off for me from end to end. Even a fly passed through it while I was watching it from behind. Far away.

  • You enjoy the view on this particular screen, but after 8 months, the LED lights of the backlight started burning out. It didn't detach from the panel like it happened to other users. In the end, Samsung replaced the screen for me.

  • Very good screen for gaming that I use, but it started to detach the panel from the frame on the top curved side

  • Well, the screen has a pretty good panel, but in order to fully appreciate it, you need to play around with the settings a bit.

  • I would give it a rating of five, but I'm only giving it four because the resolution is significantly reduced from the sides.
