I started unscrewing the screws to unblock it and noticed that the screws were coming out along with the parts from the plastic cap, so when I tried to screw it back on, they rarely held since there were no parts in the plastic to screw back on... with a makeshift solution of adding small pieces of plastic and glue, I managed to close it again.
    Today, after a month of careful use, it got stuck again.
